Great space, well designed interior, but noisy

Having had two brand new refrigerators within a couple of months, we were in a unique position to compare them. The first one, a Kitchenaid which had to be replaced because it was defective, was very quiet but the interior design was very poor. The Whirlpool Gold, which we bought to replace the Kitchenaid, was superior in interior design, especially the vegetable drawers, but it's a noisy refrigerator. The motor hums and squeals, and the ice maker is very loud. It would be great to combine the interior design features of the Whirlpool Gold with the near silence of the Kitchenaid.

The refrigerator portion is extremely roomy. I ordered two extra shelves - one for the freezer side and one for the refrigerator side. I could still fit in another shelf with ample room left over. Overall, I give it an A+ rating.

The room inside for storage and the no spill shelves are great. I like the ice maker in the door instead of taking up shelf space in the freezer.I also like the easy to clean exterior. No smudges and it wipes clean.

Great so far! Ice resivoir is small and can not keep up with small groups.I haven't changed filters yet, so not sure on cost or how easy it is to change.

We bought this refrigerator aftr returning another brand which was very unsatisfactory. We paid more for this fridge but the value received was well worth it. We like the spacing possibilities for the shelves, both inside the unit and in the door. The icemaker is very satisfactory and meets our needs. We also like the fact that the filter is at the top of the unit instead of being at floor level. Overall, we are very pleased with this refrigerator.

Overall a nice product. Clean look, functional, and keeps food cool and fresh. Only complaint would be the size of the ice bin and the loud sound of the water filling the ice molds.

I love this refrigerator and just about everything about it. If I were to offer one suggestion it would be to make the handles match the rest of your Whirlpool Gold line. I purchased all new appliances and all of the handles match but the fridge.
