Not just an icebox anymore

Shopping for a new refrigerator is difficult. You look at overall dimensions, personal requirements, price, features and gadgets and try to make a wise decision. This model offered many features we felt were important to us. The much used and convenience of ice and water in the door with an outside shelf that will facilitate resting a glass, roomy interior (sounds like I'm describing a car) and excellent temperature control. Fresh produce stays fresh much, much longer thanks to the temp technology. This feature was very important to us as we store greens and other vegetables for smoothies. The outside stainless finish is very easy to clean and doesn't show fingerprints, etc. The only negative comment is the location of the butter container. It is at the very top and needs to be carefully closed. My sister didn't know this and tried to shut the outside frig door when the butter container door was still open. It cracked the plastic butter door...I was so distraught speechless...but tried to downplay my angst at the damage done to my new beautiful frig. After all, it was an accident and it still works with a crack. If the butter door had a smoother hinge it would surely close before the outside door was shut. Anyway just love this refrigerator!

Good product for the way they build things now a day

Door shelving needs redesign. Water filter has short life. Ice maker is noisy. They just don't build things as good as they use to.

I am very happy with my new refrigerator. It's easy to clean. Doesn't make much noise even when it's making ice. The filter is easy to change out. Overall it was the right choice!

Reliable, well-designed refrigerator

This refrigerator has very good features and functions well. An additional removable shelf in the mid-section would be an advantage. Also, the water temperature at the water outlet is not as cold as in previous models. Overall, a good value for the price.

Wonderfully designed refrigerator!

We are older and not fans of the low freezer on the "French Door" refrigerator. Also, we enjoy the many shelves in both the refrigerator and freezer sections: it makes food easy to organize and find. The clear glass shelves and exceptional lighting add to the ease of use.We absolutely love the in-door ice maker. The container is easy to empty and stores a perfect amount of ice (the old style held too much ice that would get stale-smelling).Would definitely recommend this product. Almost forgot to mention that we love the Ice Black exterior, too.

Problem fixed

We bought this 6 months ago. Refrigerator warmed up after 4 months for several days and then freezer did same. Problem corrected itself but second time this happened, technician came and defroster in freezer was found to be the cause. One wire was not completely connected. Tech said this happened at factory; that we were not the cause.

Love the lighting!

The lighting in this fridge is amazing! I really like the shelf configuration. The in the door ice maker which leaves lot of room in the freezer is great. The ice maker is bit noisy, but not horrible. Love the easy to clean doors and handles. Have had this fridge for one month and so far no issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!
