We have had the refrigerator for a little over a month and we are quite happy with it. I can finally see what's in the fridge! So much got hidden in our old GE. It seems to fit everything.the downsides are: the ice machine is not so efficient. Perhaps because it is on the door and not as cold as the interior, the ice cubes join with each other. This may be because were are not using so much ice in the winter. Also, we kept the old GE in the garage, so large and heave items are put in it.The doors are quite beautiful (stainless) and the handle matches my new Frigidaire perfectly. I do not find it hard to clean at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor Quality does not last long enough

Only lasted around 7 years. Both the refrigerator and freezer stopped working. Had to throw away all of the food which was out of temp in danger zone. Only the lights worked inside. Not worth calling a repairman.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You get what you pay for

It's not a bad unit but definitely not a great one either. Main problems are the ice maker & water dispenser. Only owned it for 6 months and already had to replace the ice maker. Water comes out very slow & warm before it cools down. We like the room inside. The lighting is perfect for seeing everything. Looks nice from the outside.

Roomy side by side

Most side by sides don't have good freezer room but this one does. It also has a pull out basket at the bottom to store smaller items that always tend to get lost in the freezer. I also like how the ice dispenser is on the door inside and out. You don't have to remove a huge tray to get ice from the inside of the freezer. The shelves on the refrigerator door are very spacious too. You can fit several things including your milk on one self. I would definetly buy this same refrigerator again.

Nice Frig But

This is a nice Frig but when ice drops its is very loud. It would take you by suprise if you are in the ame room when ice drops, and when I'm asleep it wakes me up sometimes. Water comes our a little slow.Other then that it is a very nice unit.
