It's about the everything.... It looks goods. It's laid out nicely. It has yet to keep my milk under 42 degrees. If it's turned down to a lower over all temperature one section of the top shelf just freezes everything. Its currently set to 37 degreesThe ice maker has frozen over ever month. You have to take out all the ice and actually de ice the grinding shoot area as well as the ice holding tray.Probably can just forget about using the crusher there.Oh yeah and lately it seems I find condensation on things.... Not a good sign.Frankly the thing just makes me sad.

The ice maker is loud and does not keep up when demand is high. The Fast Ice feature isn't fast at all. Having the ice maker in the door allows more shelf storage but causes the ice in the ice maker to melt and freeze into large chunks that cause jams in the dispenser if the door is open and closed quite a bit.The rest of the product is great. Nice room on shelves and space for almost everything you would need in this size refrigerator. Filtered water is great and makes for great ice.Other than the noise and poor design of the ice maker in the door, it is a good product.

Replaced a GE Profile, wanted an ice maker in the door which this one has. Had it one week and the refrigerator handle broke off, BROKE OFF! A month later, putting a frozen turkey on one of the shelves in the freezer, the shelf BROKE! Replaced for $50, $20 cheaper than Whirlpool had.Ice maker is loud enough to wake the dead and is slow to make ice. Refrigerator makes odd noises all hours of the day and night. This unit has great features, but they had the 3rd string on the assembly line when this one was made. My first and last Whirlpool.

We spent a long time trying to pick out a refrigerator that would be the best fit for our family of 4. Although all the sales reps tried to talk us into a French Door model, the disorganized bottom freezer would never work in our family. We freeze a lot and needed to be able to see everything easily without hunting around. Some reasons we picked this side by side over others:(1) Stainless look not stainless steel. With a 5 and 7 year old, I knew we'd be wiping the stainless one constantly. That's not how I want to spend my time so we went with the stainless look.(2) Gray sides (not black) - Sounds silly but this was important to us. One side of our refrigerator is visible and we didn't want the contrast of black.(3) Glass shelves and higher quality parts - Just seemed like it would hold up better than comparable models.(4) Light placement. Some of the lights in other refrigerators seemed better at first until I realized that food would block them. Of course, they looked brighter empty! One thing I don't like - the freezer doesn't have enough shelves. It really needs 1-2 more to be better organized.Sound - some people think it's loud but we have not found that to be true.

The butter door on the refrigerator door is clumsy. The freezer door makes a noise when closing.
