When our old fridge went bad we had a little thought session and decided we would buy Whirlpool if possible because we knew of their good quality. We found a fridge at Baillos in our end of town. We were lucky and found one we could make fit our space, so we had some cupboards moved by our friendly handyman abd voila - when the fridge came it fit right in and they hooked it all up and it has been excellent in all departments right from the plug in. Thanks Whirlpool.

I like my new refrigerator but it does have a couple of downfalls. One, I love the outside water dispenser but to fill a large water bottle or coffee carafe takes more time than I expected. I have started using my old counter water filter pitcher for faster pouring. Second issue is that even tho it looks like you have plenty of room in the freezer, the way they designed the shelving and bottom drawer actually limits its usage. Wish the shelves could be adjustable. In the refrigerator section they could have added a extra shelf also. I suppose I could buy an extra one but for the price they could have included an extra one.

I love it. It's got great visibility and convenient storage. The repairman on our former refrigerator recommended whirlpool as being trouble free. He himself had one. Barbara

I love love love my new black side by side Whirlpool Gold refrigerator! Love it!! It is so sleek inside and out and everything is so accessible. Drawers slide smoothly, everything fits cleanly, and the blue lights are pretty cool! Only improvement would be a quicker water flow in the door, and quicker less messy ice delivery into cup from the door dispenser. Otherwise it's fabulous!

Looks Great Inside & Out

Beautiful frig inside & out. Ice maker is definitely louder than expected. However, with anything new, a person notices things like noise because the noise is not only different, but you are also actually listening for it. After a couple weeks though, you find yourself not noticing the sound any more. As with anything....you get used to it and don't notice it. So far....so good.

At first, when the door for cold air opened and closed, it was very quiet. Now it is very noisy, just like our other one was before it caught fire. Other than that, it is first class.
