We chose whirlpool for all our major appliances (washer/dryer, refrigerator, microwave, etc.) for the past 22+ years. We have not been disappointed yet. Encountered no issues with my current refrigerator of 4 months. Whirlpool is the first choice in our home whenever we need new major appliance. Products proved very dependable over the years, which says a whole lot about the company.

Best features for the price

I love this fridge! I've never had water or ice through the door and I wouldn't go back! The freezer on the bottom is a great organizational feature and holds more than our old freezer on the top. I like being able to open the french doors and see everything in the fridge without poking around. The storage in the doors is helpful, although the one side is a little wierd with the ice maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door handles misalligned, continuous foul taste on the water, squeeking noise in the door, plastic component on the door bottom hooking and snapping, condensation on the door and unusual staining on both doors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Refridgerator!

I had purchased a different brand that did not work out well at all. Luckily I was able to return that model due to its many design flaws and was given a second chance to purchase a new refrigerator. I choose Whirlpool because that is what the appliance repairman recommended.This refrigerator has many nice features; it has the glass shelves one would expect and an extra third storage drawer that I find very convenient to store my cut meats and cheeses. It has lots of shelves and the compartments on the door are very flexible in terms of position.The freezer is equally efficient; has many shelves, three door shelves. I like that the ice container is built into the door part of the freezer; it frees up more space inside.Definitely Recommend this product!

Big, Bright and Literally COOL!

This is the best refrigerator for the money. It's big, bright and has modern features. I'm a Procurement Manager for a major biotech company, and I can tell you that this was a good purchase.The only draw back is the egg storage section (don't know what it's called). If you accidentally leave the door up while closing the refrigerator door, you will crack the clear egg door on the inside of the unit. Also, you need to pump 50 gallons of water through the water and ice section, to get the new plastic smell and taste to go away!Very good purchase though.

This refrigerator is good except that the drawers are not as sturdy and very expensive to replace the middle humidity control drawer cracked in mine and I couldn't find my receipt I had to pay $90 for just that one drawer, that is insane to spend so much on a drawer for a fridge.

No complaint with refridge

Warranty is terrible in Rural area. took 7-mo to get ice maker to work and still makes 1/2 size little cubes . We have given up and just except that's as good as it gets with Whirlpool.
