I really like my stove! There are 2 things I would change, though:
1- Change the top to Stainless Steel. The glass is very difficult to keep clean.
2- Put the small burner in the back. I use the large and medium burners much more than I use the small one!

The large burner is very nice. The small burner should not be in the front, as it's not very useful. Smooth top is easy to clean. Mounting surfaces are not even. Metal box and glass are not even and bounce around when heavy pots and pans are used and or when you are applying pressure like breaking up ground meat. Concerned about the amount of pressure being transferred to the glass top. Lights very nice compared to my former Jenn-Air tops. Vent area looks unfinished. Like something is missing, but that is the design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love cooking on our new gas cooktop. We replaced our electric cooktop with gas, better regulation of heat. It is visual so you can adjust the heat better. I would put a deflector on the downdraft blower as it can draw the flame when on high.
