I bought this Gas cook top and Love it. Had an electric cook top before. It looks wonderful in our center island and really finishes off our granite counters, cooks fantastic and cleans up easily. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is the downdraft fan seems to be weak. It may be the vent, I don't know. Will have to check it out

Did a complete remodel, needed a downdraft. Looks great and cooks well. Cleaning is pretty easy, wish it came in a 36" inch with 5 burners though.

After researching several 30" downdraft cooktops (there aren't that many) to replace the GE model we had and after reading several reviews, we came to the conclusion that the KitchenAid model was the best. It looks great and installation was a breeze. The glass cooktop is easy to clean and the controls are simple to operate, although the flame starting in the high position took some getting used to. We had also read about concerns with the downdraft fan interfering with the heating elements, but we've not had any problems with maintaining temps at any of the burners.

Previous model of this range top with the name plate Jenn-Air served us well since building house in early 1990's. Small glass cracks in back of stove and knobs that continuously broke dictated time for a new model.
Liked the styling so we purchased the same range now labeled KitchenAid. Small improvements especially to knobs and fan noise. In my mind the best recommendation is buying the product a second time.
