We purchased this cooktop because I really wanted gas and I needed a downdraft. This cooktop cooks very well. I love the easy clean. The only thing I don't like is the vent is so strong it pulls the flames slightly when cooking. The vent is extremely effective. Great look in the island.

have this appliance for about three weeks now and couldn't be happier with it......the different size burners are great for the sizes of pots we use....the downdraft is awesome.....clean up is a breeze by being able to lift off the grill parts...very happy with the cooktop....would highly recommend

Actually a friend recommended that I buy a black cook top rather than stainless steel and I am glad I listened to her advise. Just wipe with a soft cloth and cleans like a dream. I had a stainless steel cooktop that just got replace and I was always trying new products to try and keep it looking new and clean. Nothing worked..

We had been cooking on electrical cooktops and just recently switched to the Kitchenaid Gas Cooktop, and very happy we did, much better controll of the heat, has been easy to clean, very happy with this product.

I am happy with my purchase. It was expensive since I had to add a gas line. I do have a couple of issues. The fan is loud so you can tell its working, but it does NOT suck down the steam as I cook. Also, the little silver piece around each burner does not come clean once something has spilled on it. I cannot remove stains.
