I bought the downdraft gas cooktop about 2 months ago- I love it. So easy to clean and very efficient gas burners. I love the style of it- i've had many compliments . Takes the smoke out quickly- which i need . My husband is not the greatest cook. I recommend this cooktop to everyone.

I've never had a gas cooktop before so I'm learning how much better food tastes cooked with gas. The super big burner is great but I would have prefered to have the smallest burner in the back and one medium one in front.

Good functional cook top. After having a service tech adjust the flame heights, I was very happy. Before the adjustment, there was no simmer option. I bought this cook top sight unseen, so I was surprised when I saw the top was made of glass. The heating and air tech that was installing it accidentally dropped his screwdriver on it and chipped the glass, which then had to be replaced. Note to self: Be careful and don't drop anything on the glass! My only complaint is that the glass is difficult to clean if any oil gets on the surface. It took many tries to keep it from smearing. Normal use makes for easy clean-up. Compared to similar products on the market with a downdraft, this is a very good purchase!

This is a very modern looking, quick to light, and easy to clean stove. The burners vary in size and fit your pans perfectly to avoid wasted gas. The exhaust fan turns on manually, rather than automatically, so you have complete control.

I replaced a Jenn Air unit with this updated one. Not only is the appearance nicer, it works well with high heat and a great fan unit that is not loud. The best part is the ease of cleaning it. The only thing I would change would be the color of the knobs to black since I have the black unit.

The stove top is working fine. I find it is hard to clean without streaking. I called the Kitchen Aid 800 number to let them know that the "cleaning cream" mentioned in the appliance paperwork was not included. (Paperwork said, "use the supplied cleaning cream to clean the stove top". The 800 line basically made me sound crazy and inappropriate for asking for the sample "cleaning cream" that the material referenced. So I wasn't particularly impressed with that exchange. I was only asking for an item your own marketing material mentioned was included in the packet.
