LED Lighting, WOW!

The LED lighting was the first surprise when we opened the door of our new refrig. The innnovations inside the unit was wonderful. We live in a development and was concerned about what the builders were suppling the homes with. We did not want a competitors units because of prior experiences and was willing to opt out and purchase on our own Whirlpool products throughout the home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best part is when you open the door

Replaced a much larger refrigerator with this one. The design is very good, the simple design change of moving the ice maker to the door is really nice, that space is difficult to use anyway. The LED lighting is spectacular. Simple feature that is a nice touch. I was disappointed that the filter refill program that automatically sends water filters periodically stopped carrying filter 1 that this product uses.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Known Problems

If you know something doesn't work right, why do you still sell the product???? I now know from online reviews that the water line for ice freezes...therefore no ice! I have had the ice maker replaced and now they are going to replace the freezer door because the ice maker is not working again!!! The damper system is not right. Waiting for that to be replaced too! My fruit and vegetables freeze in the bottom of the drawers. I put towels in the bottom of the bins. It helps. I wish I had done my homework before purchasing this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A perfect fit!

When shopping for a new refrigerator, we had a specific size space to fill. I was initially shopping another brand, but this model was the only one that was short enough to fit the space, and had all of our desired features. As it turns out, we made a great choice with this model, as well as the other matching appliances we bought.The LED lighting is outstanding. The door-mounted ice unit works very well, but tends to be a bit noisy. The inside space is well organized, and the water filter just notified us to "order filter" (which I have) after about 5 months, which is another great feature. Overall, we're very happy with the looks and functionality of this fridge!
I would recommend this to a friend!
