The drawers break

I have had this fridge for 5 years and had to replace all of the drawers multiple times because they break. We are not rough on our fridge and have no children. I have spent $600 on repairing drawers in the last 5 years. Now the ice motor is dead. They sure don't make things like they use to.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I enjoy this refrigerator very much with the exception of the icemaker and the icemaker refill system.The ice dispenser sounds like a threshing machine roaring and grinding so loudly you cannot hear other people talking to you. The ice is slow to come out, so you have to listen to the dispenser roar until you get a few cubes out.I would rather reach in the back and pick out the ice rather than listen to that infernal racket. That's faster and quieter. My 20 year old GE icemaker was much quieter and dispensed ice more quickly.At night can you hear ice dropping, followed by the loud filling of the ice maker. This goes on all night until it's full.A nice refrigerator with great features, marred by a hideous ice maker which I find totally perplexing.

High quality with all the bells and whistles

We've had our Whirlpool for a year now and it has performed flawlessly. Whirlpool engineers have done a good job in creating lots of space while not sacrificing features. We like having the ice maker in the door allowing for more freezer shelf space. There is a slight "hum" when using the water tap, but wouldn't say it's noisy. Would have liked the option of having the black part on the front in white, but all the features and solid performance with reduced energy more than compensate for our cosmetic preference.

Great Features & Design!

Overall we are very happy with our fridge. It is a little noisy at times, but not too bad. The drawers could be a little more sturdy, but we love the extra space provided due to the theater lighting and in door ice maker! Great item for the price!

Super Sized Refrigerator

A spacious freezer section well lit with drawers. The refrigerator side is expansive and well lit. A well planned shelving and compartment layout. A place for everything! And we are saving about Eight dollars a month due to it's high efficiency rating!
