Birds love this in the winter

Bought mine somewhere else but is the same. Number one I like about it, is that the rim has holes in it. The birds use the holes to hold onto (with their feet) when leaning forward to get a drink. The good thing about it being resin is that in the winter I place an electric (plugin) water heater in it, which keeps the water at 40F all winter long.

I bought this pretty bird bath to put outside my kitchen window. It is very sturdy so I filled mine with bird seed and already many of the native birds use it. I get so much joy watching them out my window.

The bird bath arrived quickly and was easy to assemble - took about 5 minutes. It looks great in my backyard and the green color blends in well with the natural surroundings. I filled the base (pole) with rocks for stability and that has worked so far. Since it is made of plastic I will put it in the shed during the winter.
