Poor mechanical design

Sound cancelling - fine.
Swivel has a known weak design.
$400 + dollars and breaks after a year of using it while sitting in my recliner at home!

I had to replace both speaker drivers 13 months in (1 month after the 1 year warranty expired) and the headband swivels broke like everyone else's who has owned this crap. Web search for how much of an engineering failure these are.

Defective hinge

Bottom line is the the hinge on the swivel broke after 9 months of very gingerly use. Sony denies it is covered under warranty as once there is a visible crack it's abuse. This is a very common issue and failure point well described online and there is even a class action. I don't know what other brands are better but this one is defective out the gate so avoid it as it will break on you.
Otherwise the ANC is great. It can pair to two devices at once but recalls more than that. The problem is switching what devices requires a phone app so you can't just connect to your laptop automatically or your desktop automatically depending on location. There is a really silly setting that I turned on automatically that mutes audio if you talk so very confusing if used as headset if that happens. Overall hard pass and do NOT recommend.

The headband broke in a month and the Sony's warranty is useless. Don't waste your money.

Good sound but not a fan

The sound is great but the volume control on side of headphone is really annoying only moves up on notch at a time takes forever to get it loud. Also the headphones made me ears so hot. Think earbuds are better for me.
