It's not suitable for gym and activities. Just after one year, the right side stopped working and the repair costs are too expensive.

Beware auto ANC issues

Just recently upgraded from my XM2 and I cannot get over this automatic ANC optimization. Anytime I move my head, move my jaw when talking or eating or anytime I hum to the music the noise canceling turns very low, optimizes and turns back on. This can happen like 40 times a day and it's crazy annoying as it slightly changes how the audio sounds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First day wearing:
- Headband hurts the top of the head.
- Ear cups don’t fit (they’re square) so they let noise in.
- Noise cancellation is TERRIBLE compared to similar Bose models.
- Overall low quality build. Cheap and wiggly.
- Cardboard and cloth case is flimsy and cheap.

Overall I am 100% disappointed and will be returning them after the first day of wearing.

Great sound and equality

Really good headphone, with a deep bass sound and easy bluetooth connectivity,
I use there to produce music, and am impressive by it’s range and dynamic sound.
The price is steep, so if you’re a casual listener trying to be wallet-wise I’d go with a cheaper, also reliable bran like Sennheiser.
They are a little bulky so I’d consider earbuds if you’re on the go.
Overall a worthwhile investment.

Used them for a week now i would say the noise canceling and sound quality, touch controls ,comfort and 30 hours of battery life on these bad boys is truly exceptional. Respect to the brains behind it.

Great headphones that only lasts couple of months

I bought these headphones about 11 months back and I really enjoyed using them. These headphones gives you top notch music quality.
However lately I started observing a crack appear near the upper cup that holds the headband and the ear cups and immediately reached out to sony for any help.
Sony refused to take any action citing it was a physical damage and refused to accept responsibility for providing headphones that would last only couple of months.

I am not sure if my review has an impact on your decision. If you are planning to buy these headphones please think twice as their build quality is extremely poor.
