It would be perfect if it was rustproof!

This is a great design for an outdoor fireplace, once you get a fire going on a cool night you put the cover on and the heat deflects outward warming everyone in the circle. When the fire is done or smoldering you take the screens off and cover it to put it out! It comes in very handy when cleaning up branches & leaves in fall and spring. It's totally portable and safe. I just purchased my 4th replacement and I've also given these to friends for gifts. The only downside is eventually the weather and father time catches up with things and it (the fire bowl) rusts out - becoming unsafe. If it were only available in Stainless or Aluminum

Lots of parts but everything worked as directed. Need some space to lay it out. The screens flatten somewhat during shipping and require some gentle work to get the screen completely round. And once round, nice to have two people to attach it to the base as it does not rotate well due to the friction of the base on the screen. Very pleased with the final product. Might replace the wheels at some point as the blow molded ones provided do not look likely to last as long as the pit.

Loved it at first

Husband was able to put it together fairly easy even though it was missing some nuts and bolts. Used it for the first time this weekend and the handle broke off of the door and the bolt screwed in from the outside to the bottom portion came completely through now the screen is screwed down to the base very disappointed will contact customer service for replacement parts hopefully
Was really looking forward to a firepit that can last us many years but as you can see in the pictures that is only after 1 trip camping and about 4 fires

Hard to assemble

I bought this 5 days ago to use for an event tomorrow. As I was assembling the screen portions, the finished product was an oval, not round to fit in the round bowl. My very strong neighbor came over and we were able to wedge it into the bowl by squeezing as hard as we could. We tightened all the bolts. There are no fasteners to hold it in. We put on the top hoping everything would hold together. I came out to move it an hour later and after moving it only 1 ft, the whole thing exploded out - the top blew off into the yard the the screen was no longer wedged. Now I can't get it back into the bowl. What about using it tomorrow? Too bad for that project. Very disappointed.

We replaced that we used for 9 years. We used the new one and the hollow wheels melted. I wish we had saved the old solid rubber wheels. The warranty states that I am responsible for the shipping costs of repair parts. Not a happy camper right now.

Fire pit is big. Looks beautiful while burning. BUT, after the first time we used it the silver cage in areas were peeling. Also parts of the black top peeling too. Disappointed since its brand new and already looks older.

Great way to extend the outdoor socially distanced hangout season.

During the summer COVID months we used to have a couple people at a time over to visit at a distance. But the seasons change in Southern Wisconsin, so we bought this rolling fireplace to extend the season. It has a bottom vent and a wood grate to lift the logs off of the bottom of the bowl, which help burn the wood completely. A side door makes adding wood easy. It comes in a relatively flat box, which meant it did take a bit of doing to get the mesh cage round enough both to sit in the bottom piece and the top, but through trial and error we found the key was in gently bending the door after assembly. Light enough to move easily via the wheels. Based on one fire so far, it looks good.

Had been looking at this model for several months and finally bought it. We assembled it ourselves. It was missing some washers in the hardware, which fortunately I had some in my workshop. Other than that, it was pretty easy to put together and its lightweight enough to move around easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!
