A Good All Around Grill

I took the plunge to try a pellet smoker/grill. I had always used charcoal and gas grills but wanted something different. I have been very pleased overall with my Z Grill. Assembly was not difficult and the instructions were well written and clear to follow. Using the grill is very simple and once you read the instructions and understand how the pellet system works, the learning curve is not steep at all.This grill must be plugged into an electrical outlet to operate. Pellets can be costly compared to charcoal or propane gas. Flavors emitted from the smoker are phenomenal. Cooking occurs lower and slower than other grilling methods so plan accordingly. The outcome is well worth it in my opinion.

Have used it 3 times in the month we've had it. 2 times for ribs, once for brisket. All turned out awesome.

So if you are reading this you are doing so because you want to know what I really think right? It was not hard to assemble with help you really need to take your time and not get in a hurry.The startup. Easy to understand and follow directions. Went smooth everything worked as it should.My cons on this are: 1. The smoke and shut down are close and I put it in smoke twice not shut down. 2. After a 10 min. start up to temp I did not get that "sizzle" I was looking for from other type grills. 3. Drip cup holder could be made better as in easier to hold and not allow can to be knocked over. 4. Wheels are good well made would like them better if they installed better.pros: 1. price, value for the money a great price and value. 2. Easy to understand book written in a way you can understand. 3. Looks great. 4. works great. 5. Stayed really close to temp I choose within 12-15 degrees.Over all I am thrilled with my ZGrill and look forward to using it a lot.

This grill works great. I would definitely recommend getting one. No flare ups like with gas. I've used mine for a month now and couldn't be happier. Very easy to use. I will never go back to gas or charcoal again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a wood pellet grill and when it came time to finally purchase one did some research and came up with what we decided was the best brand for the money, Z Grills. Had it shipped to the house, assembly was pretty easy. I was actually able to do it in about 1.5 hours by myself. Have cooked on it a few times and have found it pretty versatile as a smoker and grill for burgers/chicken and fish. Tried on brisket so far and made a rookie mistake of not letting it cook long enough. Looking forward to another go at it. So far have been pleased with the purchase and the flavor of cooked items. The only negative I can say is the grill appears like it will need cleaning from pellet ash more than expected.

Love this grill except for one thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill is like the twin to the overpriced Traeger. If I could change one thing, it would be to have the lid handle placement / design. I am not a tall person, so once that lid is up, I cannot easily reach the handle, which would now be on the backside of the lid, to close it. I risk burning my arm everytime! I consider this a design flaw - as I can't even see the handle once the lid is up. Reaching it from the side doesn't work for me either.
