Serious griller must have!!

Great grill/smoker! A must have and a serious griller’s best friend. You can work your regular hot dogs, burgers on the grill while smoking up some chicken or sausages on the side. I used it once and fell in love with it already. Highly recommended coming from a regular griller and a steak and burger lover. And since I love duck so much might as well as smoked duck on the list as well.

Pros: cheaper then most other pellet smokers, seemed to be a great quality, not as difficult to put together as the instructions state.Cons: says you are only supposed to use pellets made by the same company. If the pellets run out in the smoker it will shut off. You are not supposed to use it when it is raining. The one we got came with a few issues the package was fine and well wrapped, but when we got inside the packaging it was really greasy like someone returned it. After getting it out there were a few parts that were bent or dented causing me to make a few altercations. The bottom tray was bent so the sqrew didn’t match up till a straightens it out. When I got to the grill part one of the pieces that held the grill were bent up and I had to bend it down with a pair of pliers. Although we had a few issues it did not affect the functionality of the unit and the meat that comes off the smoker is absolutely delicious.

Smoker arrived in time for Thanksgiving. Everything went together easily. Held it's temp well. Turkey turned out awesome

Temps run high

I really enjoy using this grill. I plotted the temperature setting when I first received it, The temps run 20 to 25 degrees high. I plan on using this all year long. Now that cold weather has arrived I will look into a thermal blanket. I would definitely recommend this grill,

After researching pellet grills for several months, I settled on the Zgrill 7002e because of the reviews. I ordered it just before Thanksgiving (Nov 22). The estimated arrival time was Nov 27 - Nov 30. I was shocked to come home from the store on Nov 24th to find that it was delivered. It took me about an hour to put it together by myself. I only had one issue. A corner on the barrel where the legs attached was bent a little. I fixed it with a hammer and all is well. I thought about giving it 4 stars because of that, but it was such a minor thing compared to some of the reviews I've read on other grills. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the initial fire until today because of weather (we got 10 inches of snow that night, then rain. I finally did the initial burn and everything went without a hitch. The initial burn is with the grill set at it's highest temp (450). I placed a thermometer in the grill to compare it to the temp readout on the Hopper. The readout on the hopper and the one I placed on the grill stayed within 6 degrees of each other and the temp in the grill was between 448 & 454 degrees. The temperature outside was about 40 degrees, so I was pleased with the way it has performed so far. I'm planning on cooking some chicken thighs and bacon wrapped fillet's this afternoon. I'll update my review once I've used it several times, but so far so good!

So far so good. I used for the first time and the ribs were great.I set temp and it did fluctuate a little, but it was cold.I thought the grill was great for the price and I am going to cook on it again tomorrow.

I likes the nutserts mounted in the metal making assembly easy and very secure. Very well made. Only problem encounter we're bent sheet metal which had to be straightened prior to bolting together.
