Impressed so far

Been impressed so far- Temp fluctuates a little but as long as you let preheat, that seems to keep it from affecting what you are cooking. Only thing I have noticed I dont like is it is near impossible to change pellets without burning up what you have in the hopper. What I have cooked has tasted fantastic.

Z Grills ZPG 7002E is a Traeger..

What a great buy my own Z Grills ZPG-7002E... and YES Z Grills has been around for the past 30 yrs and yes they make Traeger which are the same maker. I recently purchased my very 1st pellet smoker and try it out for the past 2 weeks now it works awesome, the reason I purchased this grill it has all the meat probe options which it is A + when cooking briskets to turkeys, pork butts. This Z Grill has been working great so far, temp seems to hold on the spot. I won't hesitate to listen to those negative reviews, for now, let see how it holds up.

We love this grill. Had a Traeger for 14 years and retired it. Like the Z grill much better and the price is great.

Not sure why it took almost a week to ship but it arrived on time as promised. Other then that great grill. My husband and son had It put together within in about 30 mins.

Great budget Pellet Grill

I got this to replace my gas grill that finally died. I have never owned a pellet grill so this was my budget entry into one. After cooking my first steaks, all I can say is WOW. The flavor difference between this and the gas grill is night and day. Yes I cooked it much slower to let the smoke do it's job and then reverse seared it when it came to temp. I have sense been cooking everything I can get my hands on in this grill. It really adds a nice smokey flavor to things and cooks evenly. My only real complaint is that it does not have any access to the open flame to get a good reverse sear. I know this is available on more expensive models, but for the price this is hard to beat.Pros-Easy to use. Throw in pellets, set temp, and enjoy-Really good flavor-Cooks evenly-Easy to clean-Grill Cover is very nice and the wheels for this thing are so much better than to crappy plastic ones.Cons-Takes a little while to assemble-No access to direct flame to sear like in other models-Temp only goes to 450 so reverse sear is not easy
