Happy About This Chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been sitting in the same office chair for close to 20 years. It was time and some leg pain finally convinced me to take the plunge. I'd read good reviews about the Ergonomic Chair including the fact that it was easy to put together. All true. I'm really enjoying the chair and sitting at my desk has become comfortable again.

I bought this chair a few years ago and have not been able to get it to work for me.

I'm 5'6, ~130lbs. I purchased this because of the strong reviews and maybe also a little bit too much for the aesthetic - it is, indeed, a pretty chair. For a chair that is called "ergonomic", it doesn't seem very ergonomic. It seems that you need to purchase too many additional attachments (add'l lumbar support, seat cushion, foot rest, etc.) to make this worthwhile. The seat alone is so uncomfortable - I had to get a seat cushion almost immediately after purchase.I should have returned it when I had the chance, but now I sit here filled with regret at my purchase and finally bucking up to purchase a different chair. Thank goodness that I have a sit-to-stand desk and also a yoga ball - those have found a lot more use since purchasing this chair as I generally try to avoid sitting in this chair as much as possible.

Was great at first

When I first bought this chair, it was great. However, after a few months of regular use, the seat cushioning has completely broken down, causing significant tailbone and lower back pain. I simply can't get comfortable in it anymore. Additionally, the mesh fabric is beginning to pull away from the edges of the backrest. I really wanted this chair to work out, but given the poor durability, I cannot recommend it.

The lumbar support has been vital to helping with recurring hip and back pain I experienced with my previous office chair. I also purchased the headrest add-on, and it’s been great in alleviating neck pain during long work hours. Overall, would highly recommend to others!
