Just Enough Size For All Cooking Needs!

This 9qt. cocotte has so much space for a large dish from kitchen to roasting a big chunk of beef, and pork. It is so great for stew and slow cooking process. The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results
Cast iron's are the most durable cookware, natural heat retention and redistribution that cooks well and evenly. Every Staub cast iron are enameled. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. Chip resistant and dishwasher safe. Made in France.
Black matte enamel inside and cooking surface creates a culinary advantage for better browning, braising, and roasting. Colorful enamel outside adds flare to your kitchen and table.

This is a great size for larger meals, think family holidays, gatherings, BBQs. For those large roasts of beef or pork, or a large chicken, a huge pot of beans, this size can handle it. It goes from oven, or BBQ to the table so less pots and pans to clean at the end of the gathering!!

I like making recipes in large quanities and freezing portions to use later.
This pot is perfect for my soups, stews and spaghetti sauces. Cooks up a large batch leaving plenty of left overs.
Chili in this pot is outstanding!

Perfect for those Sunday family-style meals and can freeze what you do not eat. Love having a 9Q along with smaller sizes and cook according to how much is needed for that meal and a few more. Self-basting properties on the lid are a gift and make slow-cooking so easy. Everything comes out moist and delicious!

Family Size Pot

I love everything about Staub and this exceptional 9 quart pot. Roast, pasta sauce or gumbo for a large family, this is the perfect pot. The black interior browns perfectlly and never scratches or stains. The heavy lid with dimples creates a moist environment to create delicious meals everytime. And since it is incredibly beautiful and cast iron holds its temperature so well, it's perfect to go from the stove to the table.

It's not possible for it to be "too big"!

Don't be intimidated by the size it's not possible for your cocotte to be too big. This pot provides a roomy area for all your soups, stews, chilis and roasts. The larger surface area at the bottom allows for a nice browning surface which the matte black interior is perfect. Whether it's full to the brim or just partial with a smaller recipe this will cook evenly and the flat lid with self basting dimples ensures whatever you're cooking won't dry out. Staub's majolique enamel glazing holds up without scratching even when you need to scrub off baked on foods.

This lovely 9 qt cocotte is perfect for large family gatherings or reunions. If you do these often, this is the piece for you. You can cook anything in it for multiple people. It slow cooks to perfection that all your guests will love!
