Several years ago my husband and I bought all three sizes of this suitcase for 2 weeks in Italy. At the time we bought 2 mediums thinking they'd be the best size for us. Well, we love the suitcases and in the years since Italy, have found ourselves often both needing the carry-on size. So, we just bought a second carry-on size. Very happy that they were still making them! They glide and spin smoothly, you can sit your personal item/purse on top easily, and the inside is designed well. Oh, and they can be nested for storage in the garage. All around great.

It seems to be a good spinner, but I've only had it for one trip. I'll give it four stars for now. I don't really care for the external lock on this one as it seems like it can be easily broken by baggage handlers.

The suitcase was exactly what I needed. However as soon as I put weight in the suitcase one wheel stopped spinning. Sort of defeats the purpose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
