One set of wheels came off on first trip

Purchased the Omni PC Spinner 28. On our first trip with this spinner, one set of wheels came off. Now we are stuck and have no way to return the suitcase. We called customer service and we don't get through. Don't buy this luggage , the Samsonit 10 Year warranty means nothing.

Dear Samsonite Customer Service Team,
I am disappointment and frustrated with the quality of one of your products, specifically the Omni PC medium spinner that I purchased recently. I am a long-time supporter of Samsonite and have always trusted the brand for its durability and craftsmanship. However, on my very first use of the luggage, the handle broke, which has left me dissatisfied with the product.

I was on a long trip to Asia, and the luggage withstand multiple checks-in and rough terrains. I especially like the lock feature which allowed me to keep items locked in situations where there are no safe in rooms. There is plenty space to fit additional stuff brought back from trip. I only have samsonite luggages and they have held up well for over 10 years and would like to see how well this one would hold up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sub-standard wheels

The wheels are too low quality. The wheels create too much resistance to push the suitcase sideways. It wants to fall forward from the wheel drag. Wheels easily jam, then they drag creating a flat spot on the wheel surface.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Lightweight
Cons: Poor Quality, Weak Seams

Don't waste your money

The wheels are very poor quality and the customer service hasn't been helpful at all. I bought the luggage in October 2016, used it 4 times and one of the wheel broke. It is simply unacceptable.
Pros: Good Capacity
Cons: Poor Quality, Tears Easily

The case looks good and the zippers, TSA lock, and handle all work smoothly. Unfortunately one of the corners with a roller dented in the first time I checked it for a flight. It popped back out, but it has a crease now so it may continue to happen. Difficult to know how tough the baggage handlers were on it, but I expected a stronger build from Samsonite.

Oversized for Air Travel

Considered an oversized checked bag on all major airlines I've researched thus far. The norm is a linear max 62". This bag is over 65". Why didn't Samsonite make this an air-travel friendly large suitcase? Such a waste.
