[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This headset is a great headset for the value ! It’s lightweight , got the signature jbl sound to it and sounds clear and deep! It plugs into the controller which sometimes that can get in the way but overall it’s a good decent headset .

Great everyday headset

While they don’t have all the bells and whistles of a higher end (wireless) pair of headphones, I’m happy to offset that by how incredibly lightweight and comfortable these are. I can easily wear them all day. The detachable microphone is a nice touch, but honestly I can’t see myself removing it because it seems like something that I’ll easily lose. My only wish for these headphones was a mute button on the cord. There’s a mic mute button on the headset, but with a quick feel it’s hard to tell if it’s pressed down or not. When I’m in a panic, double guessing if I remembered to mute my mic, I would prefer to quickly see an on/off button or some light. But that’s my only small gripe. Overall it’s a great, everyday headset. With the standard amazing sound and vice quality you would expect from JBL.

Very good gaming headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Quantum 100M2 headset, intended for gaming, has a lot going for it. Packaging was easy to open, and the headset was secure and safe in it's box. It comes with a minimal, but clear instruction sheet, although, the print could have been a little larger. The only setup that is needed is to attach the boom mic and install the wind screen. The mic has a mini plug that connects to a jack at the bottom of the left ear cup. Because the jack is recessed, you need to take care that the plug is aligned properly to insert it (not difficult - just pay attn). I do wish you could attach the boom mic on either ear cup - I generally prefer the mic on the right side of my headset. Sound quality is good and there are controls for volume and mute also on the left ear cup. These controls are simple and intuitive to use. The headset is VERY light, which makes it ideal for long sessions. And the ear cups are pretty large - they covered my ears completely which helps block the outside sounds. The caveats I mentioned above are minor, so overall, I would recommend this headset for serious gamers.

Great set for online learning as well as gaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Completely unbelievable the upgrade from last model! Holy Cow what a huge difference from last year's model. Super clear voice and just the right amount of bass. All around great headset for the price point. A super good set for telephone calls and online conversations. Cuts out a lil on Xbox chats, but flawless for PS5 and PS4 both. Nothing really works well with Xbox, that being said.
I would say these are a great set for backups when your rechargeable set needs to charge. Also perfect set for students to learn on computer, the voice is super clear. My kids aren't saying they can't hear all the time like with the class issued set.
JBL needs a grant to get these to every classroom nationwide. Better hearing means better understanding, these would help so many students

If you’re looking for a solid gaming headset that won’t empty your wallet, the JBL Quantum 100 M2 is a great pick. It’s comfy, sounds good, and works with just about everything—PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and even your phone.
What’s Good:
Clear Sound: Whether you're playing games, watching movies, or listening to music, the sound is crisp and clear. Explosions feel big, and voices come through nicely.
