Mk3 is bug step up

I had the MK2 and while it was great for what it is, the MK3 is much faster, has an amazing screen and adds touch capabilities. It does everything you want in a dive watch while also doubling as everything you want as a smart watch. Pair it with multiple transceivers to get your air info and you dive buddies.

Great watch for active outdoors humans

I found the Garmin platform to be less intuitive than my older Apple Watch, but just took a little getting used to. I love the feature that you can track where you've been on the GPS. I also am a huge fan of the touchscreen - it's definitely a necessary upgrade to the watch (imo) as I had an older version of the Forerunner 935 and would always try to make it a touchscreen lol. I love the color combo too - kinda a brassy color with a an off white band is not too flash but much better than just a black watch. Notifications for messages are kind of a pain - you have to allow messages to come across on your phone without any muting for it to show up on your watch. This isn't a this watch specific thing, I think it's a Garmin thing.

Best fitness watch if you're a diver

Can't beat Garmin technology, so many cool features like subwave messaging, being able to use a transmitter to see your tank pressures, as well as tracking so many metrics during your diving.
also makes for a great fitness watch, track your hiking, cardio, golf, tennis, you name it, you can track it!

Great

awesome watch, but should have gotten the 51mm. some features missing with the Smaller size. use it for everything from Whitewater kayaking, free diving, cycling and rock climbing. everything works great, accuracy is pretty good for on wrist tracking. the interface is not very intuitive but it takes some time to get used to it. over all id recommend this for anyone who's an all sports performance person.

From the mountain top to the depths of the ocean and every day in-between

Awesome watch that works for everyday use as well as your wildest adventures. From scuba diving in Bonaire to the high mountains, and every bike ride, hike, and day in-between this watch gives you what you need without being to large for comfortable wear. This watch only ever leaves my wrist to charge once a week.

Not really what I expected

I'm quite disappointed from the Mk3i. So far after unboxing and using it for about 1h
Nothing really works from the beginning. Compass calibration always errors.
Wpa3 for WiFi is not supported
The software looks edgy. And when you scroll, it just looks weird, the text looks cut of on the left side. Like it's using a 3rd party software that is not made for this Watch.
The settings are super confusing. Not intuitive at all.
I have sync problems to pretty much every single device.
Doesn't really work with the SSI ap either.
The charging clip is annoying too. It would be great if the clip itself had a USB C port instead of a cable attached. So I could use any charger.
That's so far and I haven't even been diving with it.

Great watch smaller with better features battery life is less but acceptable. Didn't love the fact that Garmin is starting to charge for maps and extra fitness app features.

My husband bought this for for after I completed my advanced course. At first it seemed difficult to use. But on my first dive trip it was terrific. It's really easy and I love all the features
