I love the JBL product but these earbuds are horrible to be nice. I’m giving a two star review and just poorly made bad sound quality JBL you got my money this time.

We appreciate your long-standing loyalty to JBL and recognize that the Vibe Buds 2 did not meet the high expectations you have come to associate with our products. We aim for excellence in both audio performance and build quality, and we understand that your experience fell short of that standard. Your feedback regarding the sound and construction will be shared directly with our product development team.
I bought these JBL earbuds in 2024, but now they're not working properly. I don't use them very much, but I think they've become faulty. I thought that since they were expensive, they would be good quality, but they didn't last very long.

We appreciate your feedback on our JBL Vibe Buds 2. It is possible that the battery is losing its capacity. However, it is also possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try this experiment: Charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Note: Battery playtime also decreases as the battery ages. the sound quality isnt bad but that's about where the positives end. The battery life feels quite low compared to previous products I've owned, and for earbuds with bad battery life the charging port is awful, it's not tight at all so practically every charger just falls out unless you set it up in a perfect position.
Possibly the worst earbuds in the history of the concept. The retailer apparently wants you to be frozen in time and space whenever you want to use this earbuds. So don’t expect to take a step forward or tilt your ear to the side of these little pieces of plastic trash will be falling out. Never had a bad earbud from JBL before, but you’ll be dam sure I’m never buying any again!

Buds don't provide good sound. The left bud is louder than the right. Case doesn't close which means the inside of the case gets built up with lint, etc causing the bus to not charge. Anything metal in your pocket will attract to the charging studs. This will sort of the case.
Poor design. Bought in a pinch and wished I just saved the money for the headphones I wound up buying later. Longtime JBL customer, disappointed.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To get the perfect fit from our JBL Vibe Buds 2, the most important step is achieving a secure, airtight seal by angling the earbud downward and gently twisting it into place. We recommend experimenting with all the provided ear tip sizes to find your perfect fit, as a proper seal instantly improves noise cancellation and maximize the feature. At first I thought I was missing something, looked inside the packaging box again, looked at the manual, and true to it, these earbuds were designed to stay exposed to dirt, germs, and loss.
Can’t be used with phone calls as the other end hears you mumbling like you’re undersea.
The designer should be banned from designing anything else for humans
They have good bass but extremely poor noise cancellation. They’re also not the most comfortable, but they will hold during a good run. They’re only clear for music.
Would not recommend and I regret buying.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand how the JBL Vibe Buds 2 are designed. You may check with third-party sellers for available protective casing. With regards to the noise cancellation, you can create a tight seal by inserting the eartip at a slight downward angle, gently twisting the earbud to match the shape of your ear, and continuing to twist until it feels secure. Try this with each of the included eartip sizes to find the best fit. After a few attempts, the process becomes quick and easy each time you put them on. Feel free to contact our customer support for further assistance.
