Turbo charge, fun, refreshing new technology

I bought my razr ultra 60 a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it! It's different, it's fun, it's customizable. It's a refreshing piece of technology I came from iPhone and honestly this was a great switch. I was iffy at first, but with all this new cool features I'm just wondering why didn't switch sooner. The only thing I'd recommended is improvement on the image contrast with the camera. It gets getting used too but pictures are great. Also would had loved for it to be on Android 16. Oh it also charges super fast and battery last all day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Way to move from iPhone.

Moving from an iPhone to the Motorola RAZR Ultra has been less of a learning curve than expected. The compact size is wonderful, operating system fairly intuitive, battery better than expected.

Amazing purchase

I have had my phone now for about a month, I have had the razr for the last few years but this is my first ultra. I love it. I can't say enough good things about this phone. The only thing I do not like is the picture quality when taking to send through text. If you back out of texting and take the picture through the camera app it's crystal clear, if you take it through the messaging app it's so dark you can't hardly make out the picture. I mean you can, but it's terrible quality. That's a new one on me. I've always been able to take crystal clear pics through the messages app. Other than that this phone is the bomb!

Hi Krista75, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re thrilled to hear that you’re enjoying your new Razr Ultra and that it’s been a great upgrade for you, especially after using the Razr line for years. We also appreciate you calling out the difference you’re seeing when taking photos directly from the messaging app versus the camera app. Image quality in messaging apps can be affected by compression and app-specific settings, which may result in darker or lower-quality photos compared to using the native camera. Your comments are valuable and will be shared with our team for review. We’re glad to hear that overall the phone has been a fantastic experience for you, and we truly appreciate your support and enthusiasm for Motorola. Audio recording issues, stay away.

Buyers beware. If you are a app video recorder, using apps such as Snapchat and Instagram etc, this phone is NOT for you. Has extreme issues with the AI in the audio recording mics being way too harsh blocking background noises, and zero way in the phone settings to turn it off. Motorola has no fix, there are multiple Reddit threads complaining about the same issue. Beautiful phone, but if I can't even record any video audio without it being glitchy because of bad hardware why would I want this. Looking forward to the day I get it paid off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty good phone

I got this about a month again and I love it, I don't really know how I feel about the application though as I switched over from iPhone, it's definitely a lot more complicated and there's really not reason for all the AI stuff. I will say though if you get one it's pretty steardy. I've dropped it a few times on accident of course but am having problems finding a phone case . Otherwise the hinges are good and it makes for a good phone I would say it's a little taller then an iPhone 12 but when folded it fits into a woman's front pocket just fine and those are small

It Is Adequate

Bought the Ultra as an upgrade to my razr 2025. The previous phone didn't have enough memory. This version has plenty but I find the operating system to be glitchy. It randomly restarts, often hesitates when loading apps, and freezes, not frequently but enough to be frustrating. This is my first experience with Motorola. All other phones have been Samsung which have a better performance track record in my opinion. But, the Motorola does come in at a lower price point and I like the flip format.

Always some compromise with M
on June 22, 2026

I had been circling this purchase for a year and finally pulled the trigger. Phone is what I expected for the most part, but a few things are surprising and disappointing. I'm coming from an edge plus 2023, and I used the mobile desktop feature frequently, which requires usb c 3.0. I didn't notice the razr ultra only has usb c 2.0, which means no mobile desktop. Hard to believe their top tier phone 2, years newer than the edge plus, would take such a huge step back like that. Frustrating to say the least. I'm a Motorola loyalist but there's always some compromise with their premium offerings. With the edge plus it was the curved screen and limited storage. With the razr, I have the screen and storage I want but a step back in functionality. Just once I'd like the feeling of getting exactly what I want and need without compromise.
Response from motorola.comBy Mitch, Motorola Customer Care, June 23, 2026
Hi Randy F, We're sorry to hear that the experience hasn’t fully matched your expectations, especially after carefully considering the upgrade. It’s understandable how disappointing it can feel when a feature you relied on, like desktop mode via USB-C, is no longer available on a newer device that otherwise meets your needs. As we stand behind our products, we would like to have the opportunity to help. Please check the email that we have sent you so we can further discuss this matter. Thank you.

A Stunning Foldable Phone — But Where’s the Case?
on June 13, 2025

I’ve been using the Motorola Razr Ultra for a few weeks now, and I have to say — it’s an absolute standout in the foldable phone space. The sleek design, vivid outer display, and smooth performance make it a joy to use every day. The hinge feels solid, the cameras are surprisingly capable, and the customization options for the front screen are a game-changer.
That said, one major disappointment keeps nagging at me: the protective case featured in many of the promotional images wasn’t included in the box, and worse, it’s not even available for purchase. For a premium phone with a premium price tag, I expected better. A foldable design deserves some level of protection, especially when it's prominently shown with a case in marketing materials. It's frustrating to have to search for a third-party alternative that may not even be a good fit.
All in all, the Razr Ultra is a beautiful and capable device that turns heads, but Motorola dropped the ball by not including — or at least offering — the matching case. At this price point, it feels like an oversight that shouldn't have happened.
5 stars with a caveat.
