Really prone to interference

I got these and I’ve used them with my phone and my laptop. I’m the office a foot or three away they’re horrible. Static and a lot of pops. Phone in the yard they’re flawless. Couldn’t tell ya.

White noise

I just bought them and tried on my cellphone. There is a white noise while not playing music. Is it a faulty?
