A Five Star Soundbar by Samsung

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Soundbar HW-Q900F is a step above, offering Q-symphony which uses the TV speakers, soundbar, and subwoofer to create all around cinematic sound. What a powerhouse of a machine. The setup was super easy especially since you just open the Smart things app, click add device and it finds it right away.
This thing comes with 7.1.2 channel sound along with Dolby Atmos giving off authentic real life sound for the entire family to enjoy. This new awesome soundbar also offers Active Voice Amplifier, making the voices on the screen crisp and clear as if they were standing right in front of you. The Sub woofer making an explosion feel like its happening in real life and not on a screen.
The Spacefit Sound feature is awesome, making the sound fit perfectly in your room. There isn't so much to say as the name says exactly what the feature does. This sound bar perfectly gives you the sound you need for anything from movies to tv shows to sports games.
This soundbar is pricy and because of that is not for everyone, but for anyone looking for the best of the best and willing to spend this is the item to buy, you would not regret it.

Best high end soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had quite a few of these soundbars in hopes of enhancing TV sound without having to spend the money or waste the space on a true home theater system. Samsung knocked it out of the park, most systems do not have the power in terms of volume or clarity but this speaker packs an absolute punch. I have never had to turn it to maximum volume yet and it fills our large bedroom without problem. It pairs with my Samsung TV flawlessly and simulates surround sound well. The unique feature of q symphony actually uses the tvs built in speakers to enhance the sound experience which is genius allowing multidirectional sound from separate speaker sources. The subwoofer also packs a punch especially for music and for action content to truly full the room. I love the seamless integration with the TV so that you can control volume with the TV remote without having to use the speaker remote and how the TV power button controls both units. I also like the form factor, despite its large size, it blends well under the TV and looks premium. The build material is especially nice and conveys quality. The true test is comparing it to my full true 7.1 speaker system in the living room complete with 7 actual speakers, subwoofer, and receiver and the Samsung sound bar actually sounds more clear, but obviously not as loud. This is simply just a well designed, perfect companion to your TV to maximize your media consumption experience. I highly recommend splurging on this!

Beyond Bass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung HW-Q900F out the box was as simple as it gets for setup. I chose to connect via the included highspeed HDMI cable into the eARC port behind my Samsung QN95B TV ensuring a direct clean fast signal. The soundbar instantly detected my Samsung TV and switched to Q-Symphony to perfectly sync with the TVs built in speakers. I placed the Subwoofer in the room corner next to my couch for maximum bass response. The bass is loud, smooth and rich but not to overpowering. My wife thought she heard a rumble of thunder outside however it sunny with a clear blue sky. The front firing speakers from the soundbar are crisp and well-balanced. I was able to effortlessly add the Soundbar to my Samsung SmartThings app. I tested some high quality HDR and Dolby Atmos ready movies and boy was it impressive. Lifelike 3D sound like I was in the movie with a helicopter flying over. The experience of superior rich immersive sound is something you can never regret once you hear it. I can truly appreciate the purpose of a 7.1.2 full surround setup versus traditional stereo or 5.1 setups. Highly recommend this soundbar and subwoofer to take your audio-visual game to the next level without breaking the bank for pro-level equipment costing significantly more.

Audio Upgrade Worth It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded my old Samsung soundbar to the HW-Q900F and the difference is HUGE! The sound is way better, but the surround is the real star. With 7 speakers aimed at the couch and two firing up, it feels like a mini-theater. Explosions and games are so immersive now.
The subwoofer is smaller but packs a serious punch with bass firing from both sides. It's way more powerful than my old one. Hooking it up to my TV and PS5 was easy, and movies/games sound incredible. Plus, Spotify casting is a nice bonus. If you want a big audio upgrade without a bulky setup, this soundbar is a winner!

Good sound

The sound quality is outstanding — crisp, powerful, and incredibly immersive. One of the standout features for me is the surround sound. It genuinely feels like you’re in the middle of the action, especially during movies or intense TV scenes. The Atmos and DTS:X support add a real sense of height and dimension to the sound that a regular soundbar just can’t deliver.

Best Quality Soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon receiving and opening the unit, the first thing I noticed was how heavy and bulky it was - particularly the soundbar itself. I had read this but seeing and lifting it physically really confirmed it. However, all of the individual components - the soundbar, subwoofer - appeared to be of good quality material and solidly constructed.
Setting it up was fairly easy and intuitive (from the instructions) but getting the subwoofer sync up properly wirelessly with the soundbar took multiple attempts. . However, once I actually got subwoofer to sync properly and the blue lights on the back to stop flashing and show solidly blue, they have remained that way since.
Also, Dolby Atmos - a key feature of the Q900F soundbar - appears to show its full prowess when connected via the HDMI eARC port. Now, in terms of overall sound quality I must admit that I've been fairly impressed - especially with the soundbar component.
The subwoofer unit provides solid, tight low bass lines, and although it may not be as loud/strong the quality is decent. This is a very high quality soundbar with excellent features, balance, tonality, clarity, and overall immersiveness and could easily rival other top end system's.

Big Sound for Movies and Music

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're listening to sound from your TV, its time for an upgrade. I've used soundbars for the last 20 years, and this is by far the best soundbar you can get if you want big full sound for your movies or music. What I like the most about this soundbar is the multi directional audio coming from the sides and the top of the soundbar, spreading it all around the room. There are no rear satellite speakers with this kit, and that's a good thing for me since I already have that in our game room, but since this is in the living room, I can't use rear speakers. This does the job perfectly and I don't miss the rears anymore.
Today I watched Interstellar in Atmos, and listened to music in surround. Full and fantastic audio for everything I threw at it.
My setup of the HW-Q900F has it sitting in front of my tv on a small stand and it fits perfectly, about the same length of my 55" OLED. Its thick and heavy. The subwoofer has speakers on both the left and right sides. Compared to my last soundbar subwoofer, this is smaller, and I thought this would have been a downgrade, but it can make the walls shake and puts out more bass than my older soundbar with a larger subwoofer. I have to make sure to put it in Night mode in the app when the family goes to bed.
Samsung hit it out of the park with this soundbar, no regrets!
