This was purchased for me as a gift in 2022, it randomly stopped working a year later so Hoover sent me a replacement. Well, it's been another year and the hose has completely ripped open. All I use this for is cleaning my couch and small messes. Absolutely NO reason it should completely RIP. This product is cheaply made and I will NEVER buy from Hoover. Ever. Don't waste your money.

My stairs to the basement were a complete mess due to me tracking up dirt from the garage. I use this product and it did a great job on my steps as seen by the photos below (before and after)

I saw this cleaner on a video by "ChrisFix" on YouTube. He was right about this extractor vac. I bought it with the intentions of cleaning the interior of my vehicle, but just had to christen it when my dog threw up on our living room rug. Yipee... Well, the results were definitely better than I was expecting. I don't know why I wasn't expecting spectacular, but that's exactly what I got. My wife is ocd and she'll usually find something to complain about, but she said "I'm good with that". I'm glad, because I was done playing with my toy and I put it away I'll be detailing the vehicles soon and I'm confident it'll perform flawlessly. The rubbery finger attachment is the only one I used, and It did a great job on the rug. I was also overly excited about the hose self cleaning tool. I literally started wondering how I was going to clean the inside of the hose when I saw the hose self cleaning tool, conveniently nestled on the top of the main unit. Loved that feature! The solution tank and waste tank were easy to use and easy to clean. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bad deal

Motor jammed on third use. Loud clunk then windings scream and motors dies in a cloud of yuk. Absolute garbage. Vet mad - died just after warranty ended of course. I work hard, tried to present a nice gift, but this created much more hassle and stress.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would NOT buy this product again

I literally used the machine about 4x. I haven't used it for a while, but I am meticulous about cleaning the machine upon every use. Now, the sprayer will not work. I addressed the Troubleshooting, and nothing has worked. I guess it's going into the garbage, along with my purchase price + tax. There is nothing worse than spending good money on something that only lasts a few months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it to clean a paper stain, 20 minutes in stops sucking and only makes motor noise. Turned off hoping next day it would fix itself and nothing. Had to clean everything by hand which defeats the purpose of this purchase. So upset

Broke after one use.

I used this on a set of couches and it worked okay. Went to try it on my in laws couches and the sprayer for the solution wouldn't work, had to wash with a cloth and vacuum up the water which defeats the whole purpose of buying this.
