I docked a star, because the reviews are true which talk about the underpowered water spray. We want more water, Hoover! But, one can just hold it longer to get the water they want - just takes a tiny bit more time.

Cleaning the machine is easy especially the ability to remove the plastic cover on the wide path tool. Electric cord placement is a bit awkward. Overall a great little cleaning device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago, I bought a large Hoover carpet cleaner which does a great job, but it heavy and hard to carry as I have gotten older. So, I needed a lightweight carpet cleaner to clean up after small messes from our two long-haired kitties. The Clean Slate is PERFECT! I am so glad that I bought it; it is very effective, cleaning well, and has excellent suction. I highly recommend it for small cleaning jobs. Wish I had bought it earlier!
