[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover Cleanslate Pet Spot Cleaner is awesome little spot cleaner. At first I was sceptical that any cleaner would work as well as our current brand of spot cleaner. But surprisingly it works better than our current brand. It's so handy, compact and quick to grab from the closet. And then spot is gone like it never happened. No more whimpering from furbabies. The only complaint I have is the extra scrub brush has no where to clip on the unit, or at least that I have found. But I would still recommend to anyone, especially to furbaby parents.

Small and powerful

It does not take up a lot of space and the track on the bottom allows for easy storing of the hose. It's not big and bulky so you don't have to figure out where to put it. Under the sink works just fine as well. Second, let's talk about the sleek design and handle that doesn't slip. It's easy to grab and you don't have to go looking for the handle pocket. It's right there! Now, the nitty gritty. I have another hand held Hoover that I compared this to which is the Power Dash so let's get to comparing. The performance category goes to the CleanSlate. I have pets and stains on my couch that nothing has been able to get out. I notified right away that the suction is definitely more powerful in the CleanSlate and it isn't awkward hold meaning that the hose doesn't flip everywhere and it stays where it is supposed unlike the Powerdash. I found the CleanSlate easier to clean and the canister is also easier to remove. I feel like the brush action is 10x better on the CleanSlate and this product will hold true to your household pets. I have a cat who loves to lounge on my pillow cushions and 2 dogs, one of which is a puppy. My puppy had an accident on my couch I tested the CleanSlate and it pulled it right up and then some. You can tell where the CleanSlate did it's job as that part of the couch is a lot lighter than the rest so I'm sure it will be up for cleaning the entire sofa and more. I would recommend this product for efficiency, durability, and practicality.

My dog sometimes has accidents in the house if I'm not watching him closely this was easy to clean up his little mess. I love that I could take it anywhere with me . I also have a bigger carpet cleaner but I'm loving the small one for my convenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been more appreciative or more excited about being picked for a particular BzzAgent Campaign than I was when I found out I was chosen for this one. When I found out I would be receiving a Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner I was literally thrilled. I don't think that there's a campaign out there that's better suited for me and my household than this one. Want to know why? My husband and I have opened up our hearts and home to foster animals. Through the foster process, many of the animals became a part of our family due to the strong bonds we've developed with them over time. Throughout the past couple years we've inherited quite a few litters of abandoned kittens who needed special care to survive. Those cats who came to us as kittens are the ones that have become official family members. We currently have 20 cats, 9 of which are still kittens (a litter of 4 that are 19wks old and a litter of 5 that are 8 wks old). On top of the cats, we also have 5 dogs! So if there was ever someone in need of a Pet Spot Carpet Cleaner, it was definitely us. A couple years ago we purchased the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner and immediately discovered that we weren't fans of it. It seemed like we experienced every possible issue with that portable spot cleaner and that really discouraged us from purchasing another one of a different brand. Right away, I can, with 100% confidence, say that the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner is by far the superior portable carpet cleaner in comparison to the Rug Doctor Portable in every possible way. First, the performance of the Hoover is fantastic. It doesn't take multiple passes to clean a soiled, stained area and it doesn't require you to exhaust yourself trying to scrub the carpet. The Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner is so lightweight and easy to carry around. The hose on it is much longer than the one on the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner. One of the best parts is that it's super easy to clean and maintain. I love having access to this Pet Spot Cleaner because it makes cleanup of small messes easier and more convenient. There's no need to pull out your giant, heavy-duty carpet cleaner for a hairball (trust me, we get a lot of those on a daily basis) or a missed potty pad accident. There are several different tools and attachments that you can choose from depending on which is most appropriate for the job at hand. You have an 18 foot cord to work with which means you have plenty of room to move around freely without having to switch outlets. Now that I've been lucky enough to have been chosen to test the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner I can definitely say that it would be a product that I would purchase. As I mentioned above, before this opportunity I don't know if I would have purchased it simply because I felt so jaded and disappointed by my purchase and investment into the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner. It's a beautiful thing that companies allow individuals to test their products because I'm living proof that you can turn a negative, non-believer into someone who has faith and confidence in a product. I also would not hesitate to recommend this to my family and friends because it's a fantastic product and it works wonders!
