I have two toddlers and a 120 lb Bernese Mountain Dog who can be messy and has marking his territory in the house lately! My kids both have little Lazy-Boy type chairs that are covered in a cloth material and my dog has peed on both of them. I've always wanted to use a carpet shampooing vacuum on them but that was impossible.. until I received this! It's very easy to use and so light and easy to carry around. I like that there's a scrub brush built right into the attachmentments. I love that there's a regular and an extra small attachment to get into small areas. The surface stains, like the area of the seat that looked dirty, only took one slow pass to show a really noticeable difference! Other areas, like pen marks or the arms that looked dirty didn't come out right away but I didn't expect them too. It's normal that some areas will need to be spot treated beforehand. The chair no longer smells like dog urine at all! That's the hard part is getting the smell out, especially when it goes down deep. The chairs were only minimally wet after we were done. The vacuum has a self-cleaner on it that's really easy to use, which I love! Overall, I think this vacuum is a big success, especially when I look up the price and see it's under $200. It's not a professional grade cleaner but it also doesn't cost nearly as much as one. We will definitely get a lot of use out of this vacuum. I would recommend it to anyone that has animals or even small kids and I would purchase this myself. I can't wait to use it in my car!

Easy enough. It came in the mail. I was a little doubtful that this little thing could actually get it clean. I was shocked at how easy it got the dirt out. Even the hidden dirt the vacuum doesn't get. It was so easy to use too. I love the long hose. Machine itself is very easy to clean as well. It has a little cap thing that you put on the hose and it cleans it perfectly. Brought it out to do my car seats. Never have to pay to detail your car again with this. Seats look brand new. Love this thing!

This thing cleans it up so fast and you don't see a stain. I used it on my couch as well with having kids accidents happen. The couch looks brand new.

After cleaning my couch, it got my excited to try more! I cleaned the seats and carpet in my dads car and it worked beautifully! So excited to have the inside of our cars looking new again! As a mom to two sweet pups, I was extremely excited to receive the product for our household. Our home's flooring is 75 percent carpet, including our stairs, so keeping it clean can be a challenge. The Hoover Spot Cleaner is much easier and more effective to use than a traditional carpet cleaner on the stairs. The compact size makes the cleaner easy to carry and hold, and the long hose makes it easy to reach a large surface area. After a rainy day, the cleaner did a great job cleaning muddy prints from our living room carpet. It was convenient to clean these spots quickly, easily and without having to drag out our clunky full-size cleaner. I was impressed by this machine, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with furry kids!

This was purchased for me as a gift in 2022, it randomly stopped working a year later so Hoover sent me a replacement. Well, it's been another year and the hose has completely ripped open. All I use this for is cleaning my couch and small messes. Absolutely NO reason it should completely RIP. This product is cheaply made and I will NEVER buy from Hoover. Ever. Don't waste your money.
