[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy to use compact carpet/upholstery cleaner that is perfect for small pet messes that don't quite need the big guns of a full size machine. Our youngest dog had a small pee accident on the living carpet a few days ago. I tired cleaning it up by hand with a spray on pet urine carpet cleaner and some towels but it still had a scent to it. This helped to remove the smell and leave the area fresh again. I must admit with how small this machine is I didn't have high hopes for it but I was pleasantly surprised by how much dirt it was able to get up and out of the carpet. If I had anything negative to say it would be that I wish the suction was a little better. It left the carpet a tad bit wetter than I typically like. Honestly all I had to do was lay down some towels on top, left them over night and picked them up in the morning. Great buy for your money especially if you don't have a house full of carpets or you only need to clean smaller areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a lot of different shampooers. I've used the big carpet ones down to the small ones for the car. This one is very nice. Very easy to use and very easy to clean up after. I'm very impressed with the cleaning of this shampooer. Although you have to go over the spot a few different times to get the stains out. I would recommend this product to other people.

To be honest it works my only complain is that it heats up I'm not sure if that's normal? So I have to be pausing I wish it would heat up that way I can speed on deep cleaning days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical because I've had spot cleaners that didn't really clean the way I wanted. Either they didn't have enough suction or the brush was weak and wouldn't remove stains. I was able to remove stains my pets had left behind as well as a stain that's been on my carpet for over 6 months. The instructions were pretty clear and I loved that there is a hose cleaner attachment. The only thing I wish it included was an explanation regarding the rubbery attachment. Not sure what that was for.

I have two dogs and two kids and bought the Hoover clean slate to clean up occasional accidents from the dogs and particularly dirty spots on rugs. When I first used it, it did a great job cleaning up the messes with little residue although the wand was leaking water somewhat was able to manage it. I haven't used it for a couple of months and now it will not spray at all, which is super frustrating, which is why I gave it three stars. It's very lightweight and convenient to move from room to room, but I do think that the sprayer has been an issue with a number of other reviews and Hoover should do more work to ensure that they are selling a quality product that is reliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
