We've also used it a few times for pets (our senior dog occasionally has accidents). It was easy to use, and it was really convenient that it came with some of the cleaning liquid to try out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying out the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner on my carpet and a rug in my home, I was shocked! I can't believe how much crud came out of those areas. We are a fairly of 5, with a cat and hound dog and we live on a farm surrounded by farms. We get a lot of dirt and other crud I our floors. This spot cleaner is much more effective than others I've tried. It pulls up so much set in soiled areas or fresh spots. It doesn't leave the areas soaking wet. I love the ability to add a scent booster and the scent provided in my kit was amazing! So fresh and clean smelling. The scent lasts and the carpet doesn't feel all rusty after it dries. You can see a difference in the pile of the carpet/rug after using this spot cleaner as well. It looks newer and fluffed. The worn down spots aren't as noticeable. This is so easy to use,clean and store. I love the different attachments to use according to what you're cleaning. I highly recommend for everyday traffic or instant spot treat/clean. I also really like how it doesn't require a lot of solution per container of water. This is more cost efficient and less plastic use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving this little Hoover CleanSlate pet Spot remover. The cleaning power is unbelievable. I love that it's small and portable and lightweight. Don't let the size fool you because this baby gets in there and gets the job done. The oxiclean solution works wonders removing that set in hard to remove stains. After cleaning my son's carpet in his car the water looked like motor oil, that's some deep cleaning. I especially love the smaller attachment. It's great for those smaller hard to get to areas. I have found my new cleaning sidekick. I highly recommend this product to anyone with kids/pets that like to keep a clean home.

I have a boxer (7yrs) and a maltese (1yr)and when I tell you it's like having 2 toddlers in my house its hectic . They love playing in the dirt , love eating their oily bones on their beds and drool and whatever else they can get their paws on . This little machine works miracles and sucked it right it , yes it's small and therefore it's for small jobs like a dog bed , spots on carpet , not a big project . I highly recommend this product to all pet lovers and children .

Game changer for pet stains!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner is the best and fastest cleaner I've ever used! I currently own another brand's pet spot cleaner, as well as a carpet cleaner/vacuum and neither of these compare to Hoover's CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner! The CleanSlate is very easy to set up: simply remove the solution chamber, fill with water to the desired level (indicators for small and large areas), add the appropriate amount of cleaning solution (an easy measuring cup is provided and stores conveniently on top of the solution bottle), close the cap, insert the chamber back into the machine and you are ready to go! I filled to the large area level, as I had to do with my other spot cleaner when needing to clean multiple spots. However, I quickly discovered that the Hoover CleanSlate uses a small fraction of the solution to clean similar areas! Also, I was able to completly remove three stains that had been in the carpet for at least a month in about 5 minutes! My other spot remover would take at least that long to clean one spot and would then need to be moved to cover a different spot, so I was amazed at the efficiency of the CleanSlate! The amount of solution that was used was minimal, even though I felt like I was being very liberal in spraying the stained areas. The carpet was still damp, but that was to be expected. I am completely sold on the Hoover CleanSlate Pet Spot Cleaner and will be getting rid of the inferior cleaners that I previously owned!
