This thing rocks. Pro tip - don't be lazy and clean the nozzle/house with water from your sink right after use and it'll be clean and ready for use next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a kit of several items, the unit itself and cleaning solutions. The little cleaner is great. I already have a hover upright cleaner so this was a great add-on for smaller areas. Iv'e used it several times on chairs, my vehicle seats and spot treatments on the carpet. It works great. The hose cleaner attachment is a nice idea.

It's no where near the professional cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's just ok. You have to find the right angle for the attachment to suck out the moisture and the spray works as if it's clogged on a very first use. It mostly drips then sprays the solution. The cleaning of the hose is designed well, but the part that attaches to the hose to do the hose cleaning, doesn't even go in fully. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do, but not as well. This is definitely for small messes and for larger more involved cleaning, you probably want to rent out a commercial unit.

Not as much suction power as I expected

I was so excited to put this spot cleaner to use. I did a lot of research before purchasing the Cleanslate. I expected more suction power, it leaves the cleaned area much wetter than I expected.

Horrible product. Do not recommend!!

BEWARE They are removing one star reviews!!! This is my second post. The Hoover CleanSlate Portable Carpet Cleaner did absolutely nothing for my carpet. It did not clean my carpet nor did it remove any stains. Horrible product. ITS GARBAGE. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT BUY. When I called Customer Service, I received a message that they're closed and to call during business hours. I called four times between 1pm-4pm EST (business hrs), and did not reach anyone at all. Because of the horrible product and the poor customer service, I will NEVER purchase a Hoover product again. Since I will not pay $50 out of my own pocket to return it, its going in the garbage. Its so bad that its not worthy of a donation! DO NOT RECOMMEND.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
