Works well, but has some flaws

It cleans as it should. But the dirty tank does not hold the same amount t of liquid as the clean tank. So before you use up all of the clean liquid, you have to stop and empty it. Very annoying. And, the top of the dirty tank is not easy to remove. U

Works great at removing stains but the main scrubber clip is very weak and it snapped. Everything seems a little better than the main attachment scrubber. I don't see a replacement on the parts page.

Hose Broke After 5 Months

I'm really like Hoover's Pet Spot cleaner, HOWEVER, considering the price I paid and how frequently I've used it, the hose shouldn't have already broken (within the first 5 months of ownership). I'm extremely disappointed with the product's quality.

Hose tore after less than one year

I was initially happy with my purchase, but after using it to clean up after my pets for less than one year, the hose tore near the sprayer. I did notice the hose itself was becoming more rigid over time, so I was not totally surprised by the hose tearing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this over the bissell little green because it was easier to clean and I have the bissell pet pro Revolution carpet cleaner and cleaning everything is exactly why I never want to use it. The cleanslate works well but I wish it was more obvious that this does not heat up. I read several reviews i other sites to compare the two cleaners and even reading through the description on Hoover's website it's not actually addressed that this doesn't heat up. So needless to say like most carpet cleaners, I expected it to heat up the water. After searching online to find if it heated the water before I called to complain about receiving a broken product- I saw that it didn't heat up. We have very hot water in our utility sink so I use that to fill it and it works well with the oxyclean remover. It didn't work well with just the hot water though. Although it works for me, I'm not sure that will be the case for everyone and believe the descriptions should include this information to manage consumer's expectations.

Our house has hardwood floor but we have a big area rug in the livingroom. I bought this cleaner when we got our English Bulldog. Works great on stains, good suction, get all the mess out of rug, easy to clean.
