Poor Quality

If this replaces the "Starfrit Pro" mandoline, which unsurprisingly is no longer available. Fire that d.a. design team and start over. The blades of the starfrit pro mandoline grater are so dull that it takes a LONG time to grate a simple carrot. Do not try to julienne a raw beet, the mess is phenomenal. Left with pile of mush. Just like the brains of the team that designed this multi-flawed product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does a decent job

I tried several and returned them before purchasing this one. Overall it does a good job at what it is supposed to. It's not perfect, but overall I think it's a pretty good device and it's gets used on the regular and still performs well.

Only one thickness - way too thick

It works as advertised, but the problem with it is there is only one thickness for the chopping blade, which is way too thick for most things you'd want to use a mandoline for. Thinking of making scalloped potatoes or something like that? Not with this mandoline, as your potatoes will be slicked at least twice as thick as you'd want. Same for pickles, etc.
