This Phone is slow and glitches
on February 11, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that most galaxy phones have seamless action across apps, This one is not. Unfortunately when I use maps and attempt any video call or phone call, switching apps or loading anything takes a ton of extra time. I am a truck driver and use Google maps to ensure my route is clear and have officially burned the side options from maps into my screen. Also my thumbprint light is burned into my screen. Even off call things move not so seamlessly, it's just worse when on a call or video chat.

Response from Samsung USBy R&RFebruary 19, 2025
Hello Collins96,
Thank you for your feedback regarding your Galaxy A35 5G. This device has been designed with versatility in mind, making it a reliable companion for navigation, communication, and multitasking while on the go. Your experience as a truck driver highlights the importance of having a dependable device, and we’re glad you’ve been able to test its features thoroughly. To ensure optimal performance, please remember to close applications that you are no longer using. Your fingerprint remaining on the screen may be due to several factors. We would like to gather more information and may need to conduct a more thorough diagnosis to guide you through the troubleshooting steps. At your convenience, please reach out to a member of our Samsung Support Team for further assistance. We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your loyalty to Samsung!

Nice upgrade from my older phone!
on February 15, 2025
Posted by: Jumphour
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this phone a lot. I decided to upgrade from my A32 5G to this one, even though the old phone still worked fine. This has a great update future, with 4 years of Android/5 years of security updates, and the old phone now only gets quarterly security updates.
The display on this is beautiful, bright, and has a higher resolution. The cameras are nice (I actually use the macro cam, so it's appreciated), the Gorilla Glass Victus front and back is great, the rear camera modules and the pinhole front camera are attractive and give it a higher end look. The under-display fingerprint reader works GREAT, even with my glass screen protector over it.
I don't miss the headphone jack (the A32 had one) since I use bluetooth. I appreciate having 128GB of internal storage vs. 64GB in the A32, and 6GB of RAM vs. 4GB. And having a microSD slot (I got a 512GB Samsung one!) and eSIM capability are great.
I didn't NEED a new phone, but I had the money, and it was so worth it. Samsung did a fantastic job making a midrange phone so nice for someone like me that can't afford an S, and I look forward to having it for a bunch of years.

decent phone
on February 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G offers a solid overall experience with a vibrant display, good performance for everyday tasks, and decent battery life. However, the camera is a weak point. While it captures acceptable photos in good lighting, image quality deteriorates noticeably in low-light conditions. Details become soft, and noise is more prominent. Video recording is also just average. If camera quality is a top priority, you might want to consider other options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You have to give it up for this is one of the most awsomly seamless actions across apps device ever made. For me when playing on the Samsung game hub or watching Netfix the transition is super smooth. From the Messaging features to the secure web browsing the feeling of fluidness stays true throughout all the app jumping web browsing video streaming action playing and even picture capturing this does it. Love Me (Samsung Love) Thank you sammsung for making a great one

Phone could be better
on February 25, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera is good but the quality of enlarged pictures is very grainy. I'm a hand shaker so my camera always tells me to hold camera steady and I'm not moving it. My phone does quarterly updates not monthly which I don't like at all. Some features don't always work properly. However it is easy to use the display is bright and clear.

A Solid Mid-Range Contender
on February 25, 2025
Posted by: Breeababy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy A35 has a blend of attractive features, aiming to deliver . Here's a rundown of its strengths and weaknesses:
Key Strengths:
* Display:
* The Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is a highlight. It provides vibrant colors, deep blacks, and smooth scrolling, making it enjoyable for media consumption and everyday use.
* Camera:
* The 50MP main camera performs well in various lighting conditions, capturing decent details. Improved nightography is a plus.
* Design:
* Samsung has refined the design, giving it a more premium feel with a glass back and a sleek look. The IP67 water and dust resistance is a valuable addition.
* Battery Life:
* The 5000mAh battery ensures solid all-day performance, which is a significant advantage for users who are constantly on the go.
Software Support:
Samsung provides long software support, which is a big plus for people who want to keep there phones for a long time. This gives the device a longer lifespan.
Points to Consider:
Performance:
While capable of handling everyday tasks, the mid-range processor might show limitations with demanding games or heavy multitasking.
Build:
While the back is glass, the frame is made of plastic. This is normal for a mid range phone, but is worth noting. The absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack could be a drawback for some users.
Overall:
The Samsung Galaxy A35 is a strong contender in the mid-range segment.

This Phone Is A Beast In Disguise!
on February 28, 2025
Posted by: GalaxyxMan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G stakes its claim in the competitive mid-range market, offering a balanced blend of features for everyday users.
Performance: Powered by the Exynos 1380 processor, the A35 5G delivers a smooth experience for typical tasks. Multitasking, browsing, and social media scrolling are handled without noticeable lag. While not a flagship chip, it's more than capable for most users.
Camera: Samsung has made notable improvements to the camera system. The 50MP main sensor captures decent images in good lighting, with accurate colors and sufficient detail. Low-light performance is also enhanced, producing usable photos in dimly lit environments. The ultrawide and macro lenses add versatility, though their quality is less consistent. The front-facing camera is adequate for selfies and video calls.
Gaming: For casual gamers, the A35 5G performs admirably. Popular titles like "Call of Duty: Mobile" and "PUBG Mobile" are playable on medium settings with stable frame rates. Demanding games might require lower settings for a smoother experience. The phone's thermal management is adequate, preventing excessive overheating during prolonged gaming sessions.
Overall: The Galaxy A35 5G is a solid mid-range contender. Its improved camera, capable processor, and decent gaming performance make it a good value proposition. The phone's design is also refined, with a clean and modern aesthetic.

Very fast response
on March 1, 2025
Posted by: AvsHocFan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the A35 5G, which is used primarily for work and games. Being hearing impaired, I use the voice messaging often along with CaptionCall app. The voice to text works well, is precise in what it transfers to text, and is compatible for my needs. The security on the phone is also very important and I haven't had any issues with downloading apps. With the seamless actions across apps, this phone is more than capable of providing clear response time. I'm pleased with how far Samsung has gone with innovation with their phones and will continue buying their product. The only downside is having to discard the phone due to no replacement for the battery. I've heard that many manufacturers were finding ways to resolve that issue.
