[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to have the mixer we bought a couple of years ago replaced only after a few uses. Then the one we got to replace it didn't work right. Now, after just a year and only a few uses we need to replace this one. The issues are burning smell and the mixer having a knocking noise....on all 3. What a piece of crap!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this in November and I couldn't be happier!!
It is the best Kitchen Aid mixer have ever bought, The easy of lifting up the bowl instead of trying to get it out of the mixer is by far the reason I bought it.
I have used it many times and it works fantastic. So easy to lift the bowl up and down. I absolutely love it

Having just finished making many varieties of cookies for the holiday season, and having used my mixer for blending the ingredients for the first time ever; I continue to feel that mixing cookies by hand rather than mixer is a better way to produce a more desirable cookie. The mixer does extremely well with all other applications!
