Small rollers on the bottom get stuck and gummy

The vacuum has two small rubber rollers on the bottom. After several months, these become worn, gummy and stuck and won't roll. There is no way to replace them. Hoover needs a better design for these

Battery has very low life span

The vacuum itself is great and gets the 5 stars BUT, the battery life really sucks. I can barely get my living room vacuumed before it turns off. My living room isn't even big. It's about 10' x 10'. I have to charge the battery every single night. I really want to give this product the full 5 stars but because of the battery I won't. I really hope Hoover works on their batteries because ALL of their products are top tier.

Predictable and very efficient. It gets the job done in a quicker amount of time! We have cats who shed like crazy which is now not a big deal when we have Hoover to the rescue!

I find that I can use the wand for baseboards and places that I can't get to with the brush section attached. I also realize after time how very maneuverable the Emerge is under furniture. Also the dual brushes work better than any other vacuum I have had on bare floors. Every bit of dust is caught in the smooth roller that is not difficult to clean. I still find it time consuming and a little messy to clean the dustbin, but am getting used to having to put up with that since it does do such a fine job of cleaning the floors.
