[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been happy with all of the Hoover battery powered vacuums I have, including the Linx and the Evolve. I was tempted to try another company's vacuum. I was not especially impressed. Then I saw that Hoover had improved upon the Evolve(that I already like) and also had a new model, the Emerge. I made the decision to get the Emerge to try all of the features including using the hose to reach high places and also the small rotating head attachment that works well on stairs and upholstery . The fact that it is able to stand up is huge. Who wants a vacuum that can't stand up for an even a moment? The double roller works well, especially on smooth floors. The only thing that I am not at all happy with is emptying the dirt bin. Removing the bin is awkward and messy to clean. The Evolve bin is so much easier to clean. I was always impressed at how easy the Evolve was to clean. We live on a farm and I vacuum the downstairs of our house (6 large rooms) every morning. Then I vacuum the back entrance and kitchen once again during the day after dirt has been brought in on the shoes of family members. So I do empty the vacuum a few times a day, making cleaning the messiness of this dust bin a big deal. For that reason, I am disappointed that I didn't make the decision to get the improved version of the EVOLVE, instead of the EMERGE. The foam filter on the Emerge is more difficult to wash than the older filter in the Linx and Evolve and it takes a very long time to dry. Although this vacuum has many nice features, I wish that it was easier to clean. I am still happy with how well the Hoover vacuums pick up dirt, both on smooth floors and carpet. To make life easier I have a vacuum cleaner on each floor of the house and one in the basement.

The vacuum is not good for getting close to edges of walls/b

This worked well for about 10 months of light-moderate use until the grey hose in the brush-roll head split. Anything you vacuum up with it gets spit back out onto your floor. You cannot purchase a new brush head and there is no way to repair or replace this part. Considering the same thing happened with my previous Hoover Stick Vac. I will not be purchasing another one.

Love it, great little stick vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the ONEPWR Emerge Cordless Stick Vacuum in exchange for my review of it. Great little cordless. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver and perfect for hard to reach or light weight cleanups without having to get on your hands and knees. If you're looking for those telltale vacuum marks on your carpet this won't give you that but I used it on my hardwoods and my carpet/rugs and it did a great job of cleaning up. I was able to get it under my hall table that nothing else will fit under. Worked great on my stairs and my floors. This little stick vacuum is light weight and easy to use. So convenient to grab it off the ONEPWR tower stand and get to cleaning. You don't have to lug a heavy vacuum around and no cord to unwrap and rear so. Just grab, turn on and vacuum. I have actually grabbed this so much since I received it that it has become my new favorite appliance. I will run over my kitchen every night now before bed. Do much easier and faster than a broom or my. Oh he's y vacuum. Charges fast and if you don't have the ONEPWR charging tower it comes with a battery charger. Quick pick up and easy to empty. I highly recommend it for quick light cleanups. If you are looking for the deep cleaning of carpet like I said it doesn't leave those pretty tracks nor do I think it would pull deep suction from down deep in your carpet but it is definitely a winner for hardwoods and quick spills. Assembly was quick and easy with simple to read and understand instructions. Comes with attachments as well for tight corners and such.
