I use my Hoover vacs daily! I have two boys and a husband, and a Great Dane. I also do an in home daycare. Unfortunately my nozzle broke on my OnePwr I noticed it last night, emailed them this morning and they are sending a new one. Although inconvenient the fact that I could let them know it was broken and they instantly wanted to send a replacement I truly appreciate that. Nothing stays brand new forever and plastic pieces and hoses break. It is truly at no fault of the company as long as they are willing to replace to broken pieces. Only giving 4 stars because there's always run for improvement. And unfortunately the nozzle breaking is truly what set the tone for the 4 stars just out of inconvenience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give zero stars if I could. I literally used it twice before the roller brush froze up. I had hoped by spending a little extra that I could get some longevity. I am going to have to figure out how to send the whole thing back now.

Great Cordless Stick Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hoover! Thank you for letting me try the ONEPWR Emerge Cordless Stick Vacuum for free in exchange for my honest opinion. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have a "thing" for vacuums. So, I was really excited to give this one a try. Having a cordless stick vacuum is essential in my home with teens and pets. There is always a mess that needs vacuuming up and pulling out the full-size vacuum is a pain. That's where the cordless stick vacuum makes my day! I have owned several brand name cordless stick vacs over the years, so I have a really good basis for comparison. After trying the Hoover ONEPWR Emerge for a few weeks here are the PROS: very strong suction, cordless (yay!), easy to use and clean, cyclonic filtration, can quickly adjust power +/- for different flooring types, seamlessly moves from one type of flooring to another, reusable filter, LED headlights for spotless cleaning, battery life is longer than most since you can adjust the power, easy to change to a handheld, includes most common tool attachments with others available for purchase, easy to store with wall mounted bracket (included) or option to buy the ONEPWR Tower Charging Stand for a more attractive and convenient way to store the vac and its tools. CONS: a bit top heavy and heavier than some other cordless vacs I've owned, will not fully fit underneath furniture that is higher than 3" due to height of brush head release button component, not really a replacement for a full-size vacuum with less suction power and smaller dust bin, brush roll is loud, limited side to side swiveling makes fast maneuvering a little slower. Overall, despite a few cons that for me are far outweighed by the pros, the ONEPWR Emerge Cordless Stick Vacuum is a great cordless stick vacuum, works really well and a definite necessity in my home!

I love the maneuverability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first charged the vacuum according to its directions and after a little less than an hour I was ready to go. I love how easy it was to vacuum the many different layers of rugs and tile throughout my house. I usually get a backache when I vacuum and I get frustrated with the cords from my other upright vacuum that constantly gets tangled in chair legs or my legs, no problem with this cordless stick vacuum. It is lightweight so it doesn't hurt my back and there are no cords for me to trip over. It's like a dream. I don't know how I did without it before.

Overall this vacuum cleans well. However, the front roller pulls in cords too easily, which can be frustrating. The biggest issue we have encountered is the gray tubing on top of the powerhead has split open. This allows debris that you just vacuumed up to come out the top defeating the purpose of vacuuming. They don't sell a replacement hose nor that particular powerhead. Considering this happened in under two years of moderate use , I feel like it should be replaced. I had to purchase a different brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great for hard surfaces but does not do a good job at cleaning carpet. The vacuum seems to just float across any carpet without affectively agitating the dirt out of the fibers. This may be due to the dual brush design and or weight on the brushes. Overall, if the vacuum was advertised only for hard floors I'd give it 5 stars.
