Just Ok

Not crazy about this heater. Doesn’t put out a lot of heat very far from it. If right next to you, it’s warm enough for a patio in the Winter, but we don’t agree it warms a small patio area as our seat that is less than 4ft away doesnt get any heat whatsoever. Also it only turns on every 3rd time after you turn on/off the buttons a few times. Very annoying. Lastly, the telescopic points do not stay up all the time. It falls. I had high hopes for this heater for me to be able to extend our outdoor covered patio longer this year and it really missed the Mark. It looks nice as we like the stainless steel telescopic option—that was a positive for us, heater is just not strong enough. Guess we should have just gone with a propane option.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great in concept, but doesn't quite do the job

I was hoping that this heater would allow our family to remain a little warmer as we socially distanced in our back yard without using a propane heater= greenhouse gases (our electric is 100% renewable). In fairness I understand that 1500w is the key limitation for a plug in heater, unfortunately this is more like the buffet roast beef heater and less like an area heater, you'll need to drop this low to a person's head in order to garner any warming effect. Maybe this will work better in a quasi-enclosed space.

allows for social distancing during the cold weather

Assembly instructions are inadequate

It was very difficult to see any detail in the pictures of the instructions and there was not much detail given in the written instructions. The instructions spent pages on repeating safety guidelines, but couldn't offer clear basic assembly instructions. Also not everything screwed together easily based on the way it was machined.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keeping Us Safe and Toasty

During the pandemic we have been good about only entertaining outside and in small groups. As winter, even here in CA, has approached, we needed a way to stay outside comfortably. This IR heater has done the trick. Reasonably easy to assemble and very easy to move around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This heater is a perfect solution to outdoor dining during the cool winter months. It provides a pertest envelope of heat and being on wheels is easy to move around our backyard.

Awesome Product

We bought this product last year for our back patio. Glad we did. It adds so much to the “Outside Experience”. I love not having to deal with Propane Tanks. Assembly was pretty straight forward. This year we had an issue. IR Heater would shut off about every 15 min. Turned out to be the on-board thermostat. Called Tech. Support and they identified the problem and sent a new thermostat, with installation instructions. Installed the component in about 20 min. Problem seems to have been resolved.
The whole process went very smoothly. Once I was able to provide “Proof of Purchase”, the part was on its way. We were able to resolve the problem very expeditiously. A special “Shout Out” goes to Tech. Support & Customer Service for their guidance and support during this.
