Better than anything from China.

I owned a bar for 19 years and always hated the outdoor heaters we bought at local hardware stores. They were always cheap garbage from China. At home however I found this product made in the USA. Other than an issue with the original starter, I loved the thing for 2 years. I just bought a 2nd and the quality seems to be even better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keeps us warm

Bought the heater a year ago, but didn't take it out of the box until about a month ago. Easy to put together. I mounted it on a hexagon platform, with wheels, I put together using two 2' square 3/4" plywood boards, one 2" by 4" stud, a 15'gas line (with quick disconnect), and one 50 lb bag of sand. Easy to move around and provides plenty of heat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very happy with this heater. Used the supplied bolts to fix on a concrete square, enabling me to change locations of the heater.

Works well, needs weighted base option

The patio heater came securely boxed and was easy to assemble. It works well. The base is very small and the instructions assume that the it will be anchored into a concrete patio or into soil. Like many others who have left reviews, I purchased a flexible gas hose with intent to move the heater around to where it is needed. The instructions provide no advice or option to secure the base to something mobile. I ended up purchasing a large plant dolly with casters, which is working well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

challenge to secure to ground

I just put this together. Beware that it is not designed for a deck...unless you are willing to bolt it to the deck and not be able to move it around. I retrofitted a granite base for an umbrella and mounted it on that.
The instructions are ok. There is one rubber gasket in the package for which there is no direction. I would not put this together without a ratchet set. The bolts on the top were loose and I had to remove the screen on the heater to secure them.
It did light up first try.

Just installed this heater today and gave it a whirl. The heat is consistent in all directions and the flame intensity is adjustable. I might just purchase another!
