Easy Set-up; Worked GREAT right out of the box!

If you have natural gas available, this is the way to go. Friends have propane and a tank of gas does not last that long. I love how light it is; making it easy to move around to different locations on our patio. I found the heater easy to assemble,with good easy to follow instruction. My biggest issue is the small base. My situation does not allow me to anchor it to a solid surface. I decided to attach the base to a piece of 1/2" plywood (24" by 24") and purchased two small buckets with covers from Home Depot (paint dept). I then filled each bucket with sand (50 lbs total) and will use these as weights on the plywood when the need arises. I purchased a Mr Heater 12' Natural/Propane gas hose Assembly from Amazon which worked perfectly. Heating was as expected. Good to a radius of about 4' to 5' around the heater.

I have a 10' by 16' screened in patio in central TX. It can get cold, not up north cold, but with the wind at 15 - 20 mph it's cold. This heater has been perfect in allowing me to still enjoy a cigar on my back patio at anytime this winter! I would have given 5 stars except it comes with a small base, with bolts and stakes included, so that you can secure it so that the wind can't overturn it. I want to be able to move it around my patio so I had to have a 16" square metal base made to bolt to the bottom of the heater for a base. Also the ignition went out the 2nd time I lit it but it is so simple to light with my long nose bbq lighter I don't mind.

Easy Assembly

I purchased 3 Stainless Natural Gas heaters for my deck in the mountains, found them easy to assemble and they function well. My only complaint is that the description online did not make it clear that they required fixation to the deck to be stable. There should be a statement that mounting is necessary. Also, supply hose implies that there is a length of hose available to move the heater from place to place. This is not clear from the description online. Overall very happy with purchase.

I got this for Christmas to give to my wife. I installed on our deck and it was a smooth easy process. I did have to run 25' of iron gas line and that is a job. The heater fires up easy and the igniter works great. If your looking for great heat up to about 7' feet away, this is it.

Bought 2 of these heaters - one came with a slight gash in the hose. Contacted Alex at CS via email (sent him some pics too) and he replaced the ENTIRE head at to cost!
A month or so later I noticed that one of the heaters had issues with the poles not tightening - contacted Alex again, with pics, and he shipped me 2 new poles without charge!
Just can't beat a company like that!

We bought this as a gift for my mother for our lake home. It works amazing for late night drinks and conversation on the deck looking at the water. We will use this all year round!

I bought this item to heat my porch. However since my patio is not covered, the only time you felt the heat was if you were right under it. However, if you had a covered patio I think it would work just great. But if you are out in the open, the heat just goes straight up.

Set up was very easy but was missing one M6x12 bolt but it was easier to get one at the hardware store than jump through the hoops the company wanted to replace it. Had to build a stand to use it on the patio as at this time of the year it is to hard to work at drilling holes in the pato.
