The reason for 4 out of 5, is the ground clearance isn't sufficient enough to pick up large debris. You have to switch to the handheld fixture.
Has very good suction. And is very easy to carry up and down the stairs.
The first time we used it on the Family Room rug, we could not believe how much dirt it picked up!!

I had a Dyson for many years, and when it reached the end of its life, I bought a different brand. That one just reached the end of its life, and I decided to go back to Dyson. Oh my goodness. The amount of dirt and lint that was pulled from my rugs after the other vacuum had already been over it many times was astounding. I finally feel like my floors and rugs are getting clean. My ONLY complaint is that I feel all vacuums should have an LED light on them to better see the dirt on hardwood floors I don’t love that Dyson only has the LED light on certain models. Other than that, I’m completely obsessed and actually get excited to vacuum. And the battery life is superb. I love the display letting me know how much time I have left!
