I had this vacuum ONE day and had to take it back. I used it once, put it back in the charger and then tried to use it the next day and it would not work. This is not my first Dyson, so I know how to make sure it' s charged. Before that I had a V 8 that only lasted 4 months before it died. I'm starting to wonder about your quality control.

Extremely happy with this, it's quiet, light, so easy to manoeuvre. My house is 2200sqft and it is definitely sized well to handle that space. So far I get 3 full house cleans on the middle power setting with a little charge left if needed for an emergency clean. It picks up long hair very easily. I empty the unit after each clean but even that is quick and simple and can do in the kitchen bin rather than having to go into the garage as I did with my old vacuum which would kick dust everywhere on emptying it. I have zero complaints about this vacuum, wish I'd have bought one earlier.

This is my 3rd Dyson and I actually still have the older ones. I keep one in our vacation condo & another in a different part of the house and the new one is always within easy reach. I really like the different vacuum strength- I can select how much suction I need for the job at hand. The new one came with lots of attachments, some are new & others are the same as prior models. Filtration seems to be very effective. Battery: the battery last a long time for the work I do with it.
