This is my second Dyson. The one drawback for me is the weight. Much heavier than my old one. With that said, because of the suction selections am able to vacuum my Ruggable rugs.
I purchased the Dyson DC11 while I was waiting for a replacement part for my DC41(it’s old and now runs like new again). I have two large breed dogs and run the vacuum daily, sometimes more than once if they are shedding badly) this is a great addition for versatility with floors and the variety of attachments. I use it more for maintenance cleaning on weeknights and use my upright on my cleaning days. I have mostly hard wood floors and area rugs and love on a smaller house. With the regular cleaning of the floors on Med mode and the furniture on boost I need to charge once a week.
I don’t think I’d use for my main vac I’m but love the attachments and flexibility to get all the hard to reach places.
I love my new Dyson V11! My only complaint is that it is heavy on my wrist....but then again, I am 84 yrs. old. I got rid of my old Dyson DC7 I had for many years which was still working great, and replaced it with this new cordless one because I felt it would be easier for me to use and get into tighter places in my tiny apartment. I have only charged it one time and that was no problem.....very easy to do.
