I purchased the Dyson V11 Extra at the recommendation from a friend. I am over the moon with the powerful suction in picking up pet hair from my hardwood and tile floors and without damaging the fringe on my rugs, absolutely amazing. It's so lightweight and no cord to get in the way. Highly recommend.

I purchased the dyson 11. Great vacuum! Only thing is you must hold down the start button the entire time your are using it. Traded it in for dyson 12. You only have to push the start button once and it runs until you shut it off. I give this one 5 stars!

My V11 is replacing a knockoff stick vacuum that had a bad battery. All I can say is WOW!!!!. This is the most powerful, versatile and easy to dump canister vacuum I have ever owned. There are so many attachments available to make this my go-to for just about every cleaning task that the wet/dry shop vac is not needed for. This is my second Dyson vac and I not disappointed paying a bit more for these fine products.

When I received this vacuum cleaner and start it using it I was amazed of how much power and suction this vacuum cleaner has but my only problem with this vacuum cleaner is that the canister for all the debris goes in it's too small wish it was a little bit bigger but it works perfectly.

I am finding the Dyson V11 Extra very good at picking up on both floors and carpet. Relatively lightweight and easy to maneuver. Only flaw in the unit is no continual on switch. You have to pull the trigger to use and hand/finger weary doing a whole house. Newer models (more costly) have been designed with switch to stay on.
